HAPPY NEW YEAR! 

I will upload at least 3 times a week :D not saying when just in case but i'm back properly now :P 

'stop Eddie!' I laughed, trying to get away from him

'No, I'm making the most of the time we have' he said, holding me tighter

'It sucks, we have to keep hiding away' I said

He sighed 'I know... its my fault'

'don't be silly, we know what your mum would do if she caught us. This is better than nothing Eds' I said

He smiled 'and this is why I love you'

The words just slipped out his mouth, my face dropped

'Oh shit, no no I'm sorry- I-I don't. well I do but I mean I- '

I backed away from him

'I-I'm sorry I got to go' I said and turned on my heel

I ran as fast as my legs could take me, before coming to a stop

It's not that I didn't love him, it's just that there was no point in it. We couldn't exactly be a proper couple, go out in public like couples in love could do. His mum would kill me before we had the chance

I sat on the bench and let out a sigh

'y/n?' I turned to see Ben

'Oh hey, you okay?'

He nodded 'just got back from the library, you okay?'

I nodded, but I could tell he wasn't falling for it

He grabbed his bag and sat next to me

'it's forecast rain you know' he said

I shrugged 'I just fucked up ben, proper bad'

'Why?'

'Eddie told me he loved me' I said

His face wasn't shocked, in fact it turned into a big grin 'Finally!'

I frowned 'what?'

'Come on, we all knew he was in love with you. And we know you love him too so what's the problem?'

'His mum- '

'His mum will never accept any of his girlfriends, I wouldn't take it personally. From what I hear she's a nightmare so that should be more of a reason to rub it in her face' he laughed 'but seriously, nothing can get in the way of true love, so don't let it'

'what do I do? I messed up, I just ran away when he said it'

'make it up to him, tell him the truth'

I nodded 'you're right, urm thank you ben'

I got off the bench and walked to eddies

I reached the house and saw the living room light was on

The nerves started to build up like crazy

'come on y/n, just go up to the door and tell him how you feel' I mumbled

I took a deep breath and walked over to the door

I knocked loud enough for them to hear and took a step back

I waited a few minutes but nothing

I walked over to the window and saw his mum sat in front of the TV, doing her nails

I rolled my eyes and walked back over

I went to knock when I felt water on my cheek

Looking up I saw rain coming down

'Oh, for god sake' I groaned, knocking again. This time a lot louder

'Il get it!' I heard Eddie on the other side of the door

He opened the door, his face dropping

'y/n?'

'Urm hey'

He took a step outside, closing the door 'what re you doing here? You know what my mum will do'

'I know Eds but- '

I was cut off when the door opened, his mum seeing us

She frowned, her face turning to fury

I swallowed hard 'What are you doing here? My son needs his rest! He shouldn't be hanging out with girls like you' she spat

'Mum- '

'Enough Eddie, get inside. It's raining you will get sick'

Eddie was about to refuse but his mum grabbed him, forcing him inside

'Wait Eddie!' I said

She stood in front of the door

'I don't think so missy, I want you to leave my son alone. He doesn't want to catch anything' she said, turning around

'You know you probably have loads of germs too' I said

She turned bac to me 'what?'

'You want to protect Eddie from getting germs? What about yourself? You've been wearing these clothes 3 days straight' I said, I didn't realise how sharp my tone was till it was too late

She stepped forward

'what did you just say to me?' she said, coming closer to my face

'I respect you because you are eddies mum, but you can't wrap him up in cotton wool for the rest of his life! There are germs everywhere, the only thing you are doing is making him unhappy!' I said

She let out a little chuckle

'I love Eddie, I know what's best for him'

'Yeah well I love him too!' I said

'You don't know what love is, little girl. Get home' she said, without saying another word she shut the door

Just on queue the rain started to come down even heavier

I sighed, deciding to give up

I turned on my heel before the door opened again

I looked up to see Eddie

'You love me?' he asked

I nodded

'Then why did you run away? You left me'

'I'm sorry Eddie, when you said it I panicked. I do love you, of course I do. But I want to be able to show you that I do, the circumstances we are in I can't.'

'yea you can' he said

'How your mum- '

'my mum is going to have to stick it.' He said

My face broke into a smile

'So, are we okay?' I asked

He rolled his eyes, pulling me closer. He placed his lips on mine or a short moment

'I think we are passed that'

'I love you Eds' I said and hugged him

'Love you too'
