You find out he's famous - Jack

I grabbed my books out the locker and closed it

'Hey!' A girl smiled

'Urm hello?'

'I'm Laura, I see you are the new girl?' She asked

I nodded 'Yeah...'

'Want a tour? I know it can be scary on your first day.'

I smiled 'Well that's nice, thank you.'

'Okay come on then, what's your first lesson?' she asked

'Math.' I said

'Right this way, you are with me.'

I followed her to the class, I looked across the hallway and caught someone's eye, he was stood with a group of girls

He was cute

'Y/n, you listening?' Laura said

I snapped out of it, braking eye contact with the guy and looked at her

'Sorry, what did you say?'

She chuckled 'I said, make sure you don't sit at the front. The teacher tends to spit when he speaks.'

I scrunch up my face 'Eww.'

She laughed 'Exactly. Come on.'

We both walked in the class, luckily, I wasn't sat at the front. I managed to get a seat by the window

'You're in Jack's seat.' The girl said in front

'Oh right... sorry I thought it was free.' I said

She rolled her eyes and looked back to the front

I quickly grabbed my stuff a went to move

'You can stay.' I heard

I looked up to see the guy from the hallway

He gave me a smile 'You can sit there, its fine. I'll sit here.'

He took the seat next to me

'But Jack that's your seat.' The girl gave me a glare

'Honestly its fine, the seats are all the same.' He laughed

She stopped looking at me, giving jack a smile before turning away again

'So I'm Jack, if you didn't already get that.' He smiled, reaching his hand out for me to shake

'I'm y/n.' I returned the smile, shaking his hand

After class I grabbed my bag, slinging it over my shoulder

'So, y/n, I was wondering if you got a proper tour of the school yet?' Jack asked

'Well Laura was going to show me round.' I said

'No, no you go! Don't worry im sure he will give you a better tour than me.' she winked

'Great.' Jack smiled

'Right sure.' I said

'These are the toilets, you might want to hold it in. The toilets don't exactly smell nice.' he laughed

I laughed 'Right I got it.'

'hey Jack.' A girl walked past, waving at him. Making it like the ninth girl to interrupt us just to say hey

He smiled at her

When she went out of sight he sighed

'Popular ey?' I asked

He shook his head 'It's not that great.'

'Why?'

'I-it's nothing. I just wish I could just be normal for a day you know?' he asked

Normal?' I asked

He looked over to me and smiled 'Nothing. Ignore me.'

I decided to leave it and carried on with the tour

'Thank you for today Jack, You've been really sweet.' I smiled

'No no its fine, I liked the company.'

'Well I'll see you tomorrow?'

'We could always go out somewhere later? Like the park or something?'

I nodded 'Okay.'

A few hours later, I arranged to meet Jack in the local park that was only down the road from me

I sat on the swings waiting for him to arrive

'I heard hes meeting the new girl, the new girl! Over me?!' I heard a girls voice

I looked in the direction I heard it and saw that girl from class with her mates

'just look at her!' she groaned, she looked at me and glared

'what did I do to you?' I frowned

'You came along and took Jack from us!'

'I didn't know you were together?' I said

'we're not.' Jack walked over and stood next to me

The girl blushed, clearly embarrassed that Jack showed up

'Jack babe-'

'you should probably go.' he said

She rolled her eyes 'she's only going to use you for fame anyway.'

She turned to her friends and they all left

'Use you for fame?' I asked

He sighed 'I-im an actor.'

My eyes widened 'Oh right.. I didn't know. so you're famous?' I asked

He sighed and nodded 'you don't want to be friends now do you?'

'You're right I don't.' I said

His face dropped

'I'm kidding!' I laughed

'Wait what?'

'You should've seen your face! Why would you being famous change anything?'

His face relaxed 'So you want to be friends?'

Of course, I want to be friends, I've liked hanging out with you. To be honest im glad you didn't tell me at first because then I got to know you properly' I said

'That's true.'

'And you're pretty great being just jack. So, don't think now I know who you are that you can't be just jack anymore okay?'

He smiled, nodding 'Okay.'

'Great, so lets go get ice cream.'

He nodded 'Good thinking.'
