I woke up to a weird tapping sound

I rubbed my eyes and looked over to see it was coming from the window

I sighed and walked over to see bill at the bottom

I opened the window 'what you doing bill? Its late! It's not safe'

'C-can i-I come in?' he seemed different than normal, he wasn't smiling, and he looked like he just been crying

I sighed 'give me a second' I closed the door

Opening my bedroom door carefully I walked down stairs, hoping my parents wouldn't wake up

I opened the back door

'Come in' I whispered

He walked in, his face clearer now. he looked rough, his face all red from possibly crying.

'follow me' I said

We headed to my room nd sat on the bed

'You okay bill?'

He just shook his head

's-sorry. i-I didn't know w-where else to go' he said

Rubbed his arm lightly

'You are welcome here whenever bill, we are best friends. You can tell me anything you know this'

He gave me a little smile

'F-fighting again' he sighed

'your parents?' I asked which he nodded

'S-since g-Georgie, things aren't t-the same'

'im sorry Bill, I know it's not easy' I grabbed his hand

'i-just wish we k-knew. I-it's like they blame me' he said

I frowned 'you don't blame yourself, though do you? Because bill whatever has happened it wasn't your fault.'

'i-I should've gone out there with him' he mumbled

I grabbed his face to look at me

'I don't want to hear you saying that again, your parents are going through the same as you. It can't be easy for any of you, you just need to stick with it. I know it's not going to be easy, but you need each other. We will get through this together, I promise' I said

'I love you' he said

My eyes lit up, 'You love me?'

He nodded 'i-I do, I love you'

I blushed 'I love you too'

'Good' he smiled, placing a small kiss on my cheek
