Lucy's POV
.
.
My palms are sweaty.
My heart is pounding.
My stomach is twisted into knots.
My eyes are filling with tears, threatening to spill over.
Thoughts of everything that could possibly go wrong are flashing through my mind. My breath quickens and I pull my knees up to my chest, hugging them tightly as I burry my face in my arms. I breathe in shakily as I try to calm myself down, failing to do so.
Suddenly I feel a hand in my shoulder. I look up to see Dan with a concerned look on his face.
"Lucy, are you alright?" He asks me.
I force a smile and nod, but then it fades and I shake my head no. A tear spills down my face, and I cover it with my hands.
"Come here," I hear him say before he pulls me over to him in a warm, comforting embrace. I let out a soft sob, clinging to him. "It's alright, Lucy. We'll be ok," he shushes me.
As if on cue, the car shakes. I jump, and Dan looks out the window, then looks back and smiles at me. "We're moving again," he tells me.
I wipe my tears and attempt to slow my breathing. We're going to be ok, everything's going to be fine. I repeat those words in my head until, finally, we reach the ground. They unlock our car and I run out, glad to feel solid ground under my feet once again.
Sighing, I start to walk off. Then I hear my name being called. I spin around to see Dan running after me.
Wait, he's coming after me? I would think after my little episode he wouldn't want anything to do with me.
"Where are you going?" He asks me when he finally catches up.
"Back to my hotel. I think I've had enough exploring for one day..."
"I'll walk you." he quickly says, to my surprise.
"O-okay. Sure."
"I just have to quickly stop by my place before. I hope you don't mind..."
"Not at all," I smile at him, and he smiles back.

Dan's POV
.
We walked to Phil's and my flat, talking about random little things along the way. She was really sweet, and really cool.
We finally got to the building where I live, and I walked in, Lucy following behind me. But, when I got into the lift, I saw she wasn't following me.
I raised my eyebrows at her, and she simply responded, "I'll just wait down here."
I chuckled and grabbed her wrist, pulling her in. "Come with me, I don't mind." I smiled at her, and she smiled back.
Once we reach our floor, I step out, Lucy in tow. I grab my key and unlock the door, stepping inside. I make sure Lucy comes with me, then shut the door behind me.
"Phil? Phil, I'm home!" I yell into the house.
Phil comes around the corner, freezing when he sees Lucy.
"Oh my god..." I hear Lucy mumble under her breath.
"Phil, this is Lucy. Lucy, Phil." I introduce them.
Phil smiles, reaching out to shake her hand. "Nice to meet you," he says.
She just stares in shock. Suddenly, she shakes her head. "Sorry... it's nice to meet you too. I'm a huge fan." she says with a smile covering her face.
"Aww, that's so sweet," Phil says, then looks at me questioningly.
"Lucy and I met, and she's visiting from America, so I decided to show her around." I tell him. I don't mention the London Eye, though, as I don't want to embarrass Lucy.
Suddenly, I hear a loud rumble. Lucy's cheeks turn a bright red. Nervously chuckling, she says, "I guess I'm still a bit hungry."
"Would you like something?" I offer her. without letting her answer, I walk towards the kitchen.

"Come on, then!" Phil says, and I place my bag on the floor.
I follow Phil into the kitchen to find Dan with his head in the fridge.
"What would you like?" he asks me.
"Well, how about British pancakes?"
He looks at me, and I smile, adding, "But not just any pancakes."
"Friking Deliah Smith pancakes!" we say together. We burst out in laughter.
"Sure, why not?" Dan says, pulling ingredients out of the fridge.
.
"Prepare yourself for the best pancake you've ever had in your entire existence," Dan says, placing a plate with a pancake on it in front of me. I cute a piece off and stick it in my mouth.
"Mmm," I hum in approval. "You're right. These are delicious." I dig in, eating even more until it's gone.
Dan laughs at my appetite.
"Well, I better get back to my hotel," I sigh. I really wish I could stay longer, but I don't want to push myself. Besides, why would they want me to stay over?
"Yeah, I guess," Dan says. "Phil, I'm going to walk her back. It's not that far."
"Alright, Dan. See you later. Nice meeting you, Lucy." he smiles at me.
"Um, Phil?"
"Yeah Lucy?"
"Could, um... Could I get a picture with you?"
He chuckles. "Of course."
.
When I arrive at my hotel, Dan gives me one last hug before waving goodbye. I walk into the lobby and sigh. Why did such a good day have to end?
I get into the lift, leaning my head against the wall as I go up. I keep thinking about today. I got to spend a whole day with my idol, Dan Howell.
The lift dings, bringing me back to earth. I step out and walk to my room. I reach for my bag to grab my key, but I find nothing there. Frowning, I look down to see I don't have my bag. But that's when I realize...
I left it at Dan's house.
And it has my key, wallet, and phone in it.
Shit.
