Lucy's POV

.

This is great. Just great.

I lean my head against the wall as I list my options. I could get a new key at the front desk? No, that requires my ID, which is in my wallet, which is in my bag at Dan's flat.

I could call a cab to take me to Dan's? No, again, I need money which is in my wallet, and I also need my phone.

Seems like my only option is to walk back to get it.

I walk back to the lift and mentally kick myself for being so stupid. Why did I have to leave my bag there? Now I'm going to look like a complete idiot showing up again.

I step out of the lift and walk out the lobby doors. I try to relive the route Dan and I walked to the hotel. I hope I don't get lost.

I start to see signs that I'm going the right way. Well, at least this didn't go wrong.

Just then, I feel a drop of water on my shoulder. Frowning, I look up to see a gray, cloudy sky. Then, another drop of rain hits my cheek. Of course! Just when I thought this day couldn't get any worse, it decides to rain. Damn London weather.

It starts to pour, and I'm completely soaked. Lucky me, wearing just a crop top and shorts. Yay me...

Finally, Dan's building comes into view. I run into the building as fast as I can. I'm soaked from head to toe, and I'm freezing. I step into the lift, shivering. When it opens I walk to his door, knocking.

The door opens to reveal Dan, and confusion takes over his face.

"Lucy?"

Dan's POV

"Oh my god, Lucy, what the hell happened to you?"

She's drenched completely and shivering. "I-I left my b-bag here and it h-has my key, phone, and w-wallet in it. I w-walked back to get it a-and it started to r-rain."

"Come in! I'm going to get you a towel and some fresh clothes. Come on." I pull her in, shutting the door.

"Phil!" I shout.

"Yeah Dan?" he yells back.

"Can you come here?"

He walks in, gasping when he sees Lucy. I explain what happened and tell him to get her a towel. He runs off, and reappears seconds later with a towel.

"Th-thank you," Lucy smiles weakly.

"I'll be right back with some clothes for you," I say to her. "You're staying here until the rain lets up."

"No, Dan, I'll be f-fine," she shivers.

"You're staying. No arguments." I say, then leave to get her clothes.

I sigh, then say to Phil, "Is he always this stubborn?"

He chuckles. "Yeah, he is. Come on, you can come sit down."

He leads me to the couch and I sit down, curling up and attempting to regain my body heat.

Dan walks in with a shirt and some shorts. "Here, you can wear these," he says, handing me the clothes.

"Thank you, Dan. You really don't have to do this though..."

Instead of answering, he just grabs my wrist and leads me to his room.
