"This lawyer guy first heart free corpse in town?"

Sam had returned from his trip to the morgue and had just finished filling Dean and Jayde in on his findings.

"First man. Over the past year several women have gone missing; their bodies all washed up later in the bay, too deteriorated to draw firm conclusions."

"But no hearts?" Jayde was leaning on one of the beds as she watched Sam take a beer from a fridge and sit down to face her and Dean.

"No hearts. They were all hookers working Hunter's Point. Now cops were trying to keep things under wraps but they're looking or a serial killer."

"And the lunar cycle?" Dean questioned.

"Mmhmm. Yeah, month after month all the murders happened in the same week leading up to the full moon."

"Which is this week right?"

"Hence the lawyer."

"Awesome." Dean was smiling a wide smile, some mischief hidden behind it. Jayde was a little shocked but mostly curious; what was so awesome about murder? She turned to Sam for some answers, but he just rolled his eyes.

"Dean, could you be a bigger geek about this?"

"I'm sorry man, but what about a human by day, a freak animal killing machine by moonlight don't you understand I mean, werewolves are badass. We haven't seen one since we were kids." He was going through his bag to pull out a small case, Jayde peering over his shoulder to spot a case loaded with silver bullets. She distinctly remembered that werewolf case from so long ago, and how John had almost broken her foot when he stepped on it and grinded her toes for stealing some money from Dean and buying a candy bar.

"Okay Sparky! And you know what? After we kill it, we can go to Disneyland!"

Jayde couldn't help but laugh at Sam's sarcasm, but Dean was still determined to be excited.

"Know the best part about this is? We already know how to bring these suckers down. One of these bad boys right to the heart." Dean had picked up one of the silver bullets and let it roll between his fingers, the smile on his face still wide. Sam and Jayde couldn't help but smile as well, Dean's facial expression almost being contagious.

"So what's our next move?" Jayde crossed her fingers in hopes of an activity she could participate in; as a young hunter she couldn't exactly pretend to be FBI.

"Talk to the girl who found the body."

Jayde sighed, figuring she wasn't going to be able to come along, not that she ever really had the chance. Dean was enthusiastic and ready to go, taking a moment to realise they couldn't take Jayde with them.

"Go, I'll distract myself, maybe call up my friends, probably work." Jayde had only just realised that she should've been working yesterday, her boss would probably be worried about her if she hadn't shown or wasn't in her flat. The two boys left quickly leaving Jayde to spend the next hour making several calls to her boss, Marie and a couple others who cared about her. It worked as some sort of full closure, as when she out her phone down Jayde let out a breath she didn't realise she was holding. She went out for a quick walk around the block to get some much desired fresh air, Sam calling her to give a quick update.

The witness Madison had a stalker ex-boyfriend who could be the werewolf. Totally not creepy. Sam had told Jayde they wouldn't be back for a while longer so they could go investigate this 'Kurt' character a little more, leaving the young girl to wander into a park and plug in her headphones, letting music drift her away as she walked. She went back to the motel room as the sun began to set, her two brothers still yet to return home. Jayde was making herself some sandwich dinner when she got another call from Sam, explaining that there had been another death, Kurt looking like the biggest suspect. He had sent Dean to pick Jayde up and drop her at Madison's place with Sam, the two deciding it was best to keep an eye on her.
