going home

Spencer's POV

the next day

"okay Spencer, everything seems to be fine" Doctor Amelia said looking at her charts and closes it "You can go home today" she smiles

I smile big and my eyes lit up with joy "Really, that's so great" I said

"Oh thank you Dr. Amelia" Toby says while hugging me tight and kissing my forehead.

"your welcome, just sign out when you're done" she says before she leaves.

"Well it looks like you're coming home, are you excited?" Toby ask

"I'm so excited, I can wait to see the little babies" I smiled

"and I can't wait to hold this little baby in my arms" he says kissing my flat belly

"is that what you do when I'm pregnant?" I laughed

"Well not just that, I also talk to them, tell jokes" he rambles on

I get out the bed and I go to the bathroom to shower. The shower was steaming hot, which feels good on my body where it hurts.

After I was done, I wrap the towel around me and I get out and saw that Toby laid out my clothes for me

Is he always this sweet? If so I'm one lucky girl to have him. I dry myself and lotion down and put on my clothes. It was a Ralph Lauren sweater, a pair of dark blue jeans and put on thigh high boots. I go back to the bathroom to clean my face. I looked at the mirror. I never realized my face was bruised. Not too bad but bad enough. I don't own any makeup so I just clean with soap and water.

"Spence" Toby knocks on the door before coming in

"Yeah Toby?"

"You ready to go?" He says standing behind me. I turn and face him. Our face is very close together. I wanna kiss him, but not yet. I may have fallen for him but I want to get to know him more

"Yes I'm ready" I smile. He takes my hand and we walk out the bathroom. He helps me put on my coat, hat and scarf. He takes my bag and grabs my hand again and we make our way home.

"How are we getting home, if the car is destroyed?" I asked

"I got it fixed a few days ago. There's no snow on the ground, so we will be okay" he assures me and I nod. 

We go to the parking lot and head to the car. He puts the bag in the trunk and makes his way to the front. He opened the door for me and helped me get in. I buckled up and he closes the door and heads to the driver and starts the car and buckled up as well and we head home

"How are you feeling? before we left, the doctor gave me pain pills for you" he ask

"my head does hurt a little"

"When we get home, you take the pills and drink water okay. I don't want you to do anything. Doctor says to relax"

"Toby I'm fine okay, I can do stuff" I rolled my eyes

"You need to be safe okay? No going outside, no lifting things. Just relax" he demands

"Toby-

He pulls over and puts the car in park and turns to me with tears in his eyes

"Why are you crying" I asked

"I-I can't lose you okay? I worry so much about you, i have to make sure you are safe . Spencer you are my everything to me. I lost you once and when I found you again, I made a vow to YOU and to God that I will always keep you safe" he cries as he grabs both my hands and kisses them
