14 years later

"Dad, can I borrow the car please?" Sebastian asked

"And where are you going on a school night?" Toby raised his eyebrow at his son

"I'm taking Stephanie out for dinner, it's our one year anniversary" he smiled

"That's my boy, im happy for you" Toby nodded

"Hey dad, what did you and mom do for your one year anniversary" Sebastian asked shyly

Toby's heart dropped. How could he tell his son that he betrayed her that night. That night she found out he was on the A team. That night that scarred her for life. That night he broke her heart.

"I-I uh..

"Hey guys" Spencer came down earning Toby a save from telling their son about their one year anniversary 

"ooh don't you look handsome" she kissed her son's cheek "Where are you going?" she asked sitting next to Toby giving him a kiss on the lips

"It's me and Stephanie one year anniversary, can I borrow the car?" he asked

"sure honey, just be h-

"home by 11:00 pm mom I know" he finished the sentence

"So, where are you taking her?" Spencer asked lying against Toby's chest as he puts his arms around her

"Well first I'm taking her to that little diner that's run by the Italian family and we are going to the movies to see Black Panther (a/n I HAD TO OKAY BLACK PANTHER IS THE BEST MARVEL MOVIE EVER. WAKANDA FOREVER)  and then I'm taking her to the carnival thats in the next town"

"Youre such a romantic, just like your father" Spencer awed

"Hey mom, what was your first anniversary like with dad like?" Sebastian asked

Spencer looked at Toby and leaned in his ear

"Should we tell him?" she asked

"He's going to find out eventually so lets get it over with" Toby sighed. They both sat up on the couch and gestured for Seb to sit down

"You know Auntie Alison right?" Spencer asked

"Of course"

"Well back when we were teens, she was a horrible person and she used to bully people in school and well she bullied Aunt Mona all the time. So Aunt Mona got back at her by blackmailing her to disappear and then Aunt Mona came after me, your aunt lucy, emily and aria. She would send us mean texts and threaten us,-

then Toby cut right in

"eventually Aunt Mona got caught and was put into a mental hospital, but when she came out, she convinced everyone she was okay but she was back to the bullying, so I wanted to put a stop to this, but when I told your mother I was going to a job interview, which I was, Aunt Mona found me and she said if I didn't join her team, that she will kill your mother, so I joined but Mona back-stabbed me and she planned for me to get caught by your mother on our first anniversary and when she found out, I was ashamed of myself and I ran away. Then I did something so stupid and unforgivable and I still hate myself to this day.

"What did you do to mom!" Sebastian shouted angirly

"when I ran away, I left rosewood for a while, then I get a call from Aunt Mona telling me that she made it look like I faked my death. Your mom was trying to find me in the woods and she saw a body with a tattoo that looked like mine and thats when your mom lost it. I broke her to the point where she had to stay in the same mental hospital your aunt was in as well, but then aunt Mona came to see your mother and told her I was alive and that she fooled me to fake my death"
