Unexpected Visitor

Toby POV

Im so stupid. I can't believe I did this. To me. To Spencer. To the kid!!! What kind of father and husband and I.

I did the one thing Spencer told me not to do.

I mixed up the kids. I completely forgot how Spencer said how to tell the kids apart. Did Gwen have the chin dimple or did Marion have the chin dimple or was it Greg that had it? No I think it was Trent. ughhh they all look a like. They all have Spencer's face. She's going to be home in a few hours.

I hear crying. I run up to the nursery and see I think Gwen crying.

"Toby" I hear. Oh please don't let it be Spencer

"Hey what's going on" I turn my head and see Emily

"Thank God you are here, I need help"

"What is it" she comes taking whatever kid I was holding

"I mixed up the kids"

"What! Toby how did you mix up the kids?"

"I was bathing all of them and accidentally mixed them up, Spencer told me a way to remeber which is which but I forgot, did she tell you anything?" I rambled

"You're lucky I came in time. Yeah she told me. Marion has the exact same beauty mark as Spencer. Gwen doesnt" she said handing me back my baby. I take a look and sure enough she has the beauty mark "Okay this is Marion" I grabbed a marker and wrote M on Marion and G on Gwen.

"Okay which boy is which?" I asked

"Seriously Toby?" 

"I dont remember, it was late and I was tired" I defended myself

"Greg has blue eyes and Trent has brown eyes, no that's not going to do anything, I don't know Toby"

Just then the door closes

"Toby Im home" she shouts.

'Em, help" I whisper

She puts the boys down and grabs her bag. "Youre on your own" the she dashes down the stairs

"Oh hey Em ,what you doing here" I hear Spencer

"Um, Toby mixed up the kids, bye" the she leaves

'What! Toby! You mixed up the kids" she shouts coming in the room "How did you mix them up?" she ask

"I was bathing them and then I forgot" I panicked

"which ones are you still confused?" she asked

"Greg and Trent"

Spencer goes over to the boys. She puts a pacifier in both of their mouth and one spits it out

"The one who spit it out is Greg, he hates them, Trent loves them" she says "Can you remember that Toby"

I shook my head

She sighs "You're lucky I went out and got hats with their names,  because knowing you, you tend to forget a lot" she puts blue on for Trent, Green for Greg, Purple for Marion and Yellow for Gwen.

"Im sorry for mixing the kids" I said shamefully. She walks over to me and hugs me

"Its fine, things happen, we all make mistakes" she smiles and kisses me.

- 2 months later

"Im going to miss you guys so much" Hanna says as she bear hugs Spencer

Caleb and the guys bro hugs me.
