Chapter 15: Your safe

When Sam, the leader of Jacobs pack told me that Jacob was hurt and wanted to see me I didn't hesitate to rush over there. Jake had pissed me off a lot lately, but he was my best friend and I needed to see that he was okay. When we both got their Carlisle had just come out of Jakes house. I bolted over to him.
    "Is he..?"
Billy, Jacobs father joined me in his wheelchair. Carlisle flashed a small smile.
    "He's recovery quite well. He should be fully healed in a few days". Carlisle assured us. Both of us breathed a sigh of relief as Carlisle pulled me a side.
    "Jasper tried to help Jacob, but the new born was too fast. He'll be waiting for you back at your house". I nodded my head and rushed inside to see Jacob. I let out a sigh and opened his door. Jacob laying down on his bed with a cast wrapped around his arm I let out a cry and sat down beside him.
    "Hannah". He whispered my name. I shook my head.
    "I'm glad that you alive. You scared me Jake. Don't ever do that again". Jacob chuckled lightly and reached out to touch my hand.
    "I'll try not to, but I had to protect you and Bella. Your both important to me". Jacob stated.
    "You didn't have to we-"
Jacob sighed. "You both have your bloodsuckers for that. I'm guessing he told you that I was injured".
I shook my head. "Sam did". I said. "I haven't seen Jasper yet".
    "Sam told you?"
I nodded my head. "He came by to tell me and I rushed over here". I replied. I gripped James hand tight. "Jake your my best friend. I couldn't bare it if something bad happened to you. I care about".
Jacob groaned. "Just not in that way".
    "No. I'm sorry". I said standing up from his bed.
     "But I'll always be here if you need someone to talk to or go hiking with". I said trying to change the subject. Jake smiled and let out a laugh.
    "I'll make sure to take you up on that offer". He said.
    "Noted". I smiled. "I'll stop by tomorrow to see how your doing". I said as I walked out.

Sam offered me a ride home which I thanked him for. When he dropped me off he glared over at a familiar car parked in my driveway. I smiled as he pulled away. I walked up to my house and unlocked the door to my house.
    "Hannah". I spotted him standing in the living and before I hang up my coat I rushed into his arms and when my body crashed against his I felt safe again.
    "Thank goodness that your safe". I said as a few tears left my eyes. Jasper smiled as we both pulled and he crushed his lips against mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck as our kiss grew more intense. I could feel my breath dwindling so I pulled my lips away from his.
    "I am sorry Hannah. It seems I have lost control again". Jasper apologized. I shook my head.
    "I'm fine". I said trying to catch my breath. He did not need to apologize. I missed Jasper like crazy to have such a passionate kiss like that was something I was never going to regret.
   "I'm just happy that your here. I missed you". I said laying my head back on his chest.
    "I missed you too Hannah". Jasper said looking into my eyes. "I am sorry about Jacob".
    "Me too. Damn Victoria and her army for targeting my family".
    "Well we don't have to worry about her anymore". Jasper said. I raised an eyebrow at his statement.
     "What do you mean?"
He smiled. "Edward ripped her head from her body. She's no more".
I smiled and twirled around the room. Jasper smiled and joined me. He took my one hand in his and placed his other hand in my waist.
    "Remind me to thank Edward for that". I said making Jasper chuckle.
    "You will have a perfect opportunity to thank him tomorrow". Jasper said twirling me around. Then he twirled me back into his arms and sneaked a kiss from me. I smirked at him and raised an eyebrow.
    "Oh I will, will I?"
    "A perfect time to congratulate your cousin as well".
     "Congratulate?"
Jasper sighed. "Bella did not tell you?"
Still looking at my boyfriend confused I asked, "didn't tell me?"
Jasper smiled. "That she's getting married".
