Chapter 16: To new beginnings...

When the words she's getting married left his lips my eyes widened and I felt like I couldn't breath. Bella. My cousin was engaged. To Edward Cullen. A vampire.
"Why didn't she tell me?" I asked Jasper. He shook his head as we both sat down on the couch.
"Maybe she wanted to wait for the right time to tell you. I'm not sure". Jasper replied as I let out a sigh. Bella was like a sister to me. Why couldn't she tell me that she was getting married? It wasn't like I hated Edward. He was a nice guy who loved her with all that he was.
All I wanted was for her to be happy and if he made her happy then that was all that mattered.
"Maybe. So when's the wedding?"
Jasper smiled. "August".
I let out a sigh. "That's only a few months away. Well I have some dress shopping to do then".
Jasper smirked and leaned in. "You'll look stunning I'm sure".
I smiled and raised an eyebrow at him. "Don't want to out do the bride".
"Naturally". Jasper replied as I laid my head on his shoulder.
"Edward will make her happy for sure. If not I'll kill him". Jasper let out a chuckle and wrapped his arm around my shoulders.
"He'll make her as happy as you make me". I blushed as Jasper comment and didn't even realize that I slowly began to drift into a perfect deep sleep.

When I came to the next morning I noticed that Jasper car was still parked in our driveway and that Charlie's was still gone. I rubbed my eyes and went into the kitchen to see that Jasper was at the stove making breakfast.
"Morning Beautiful". I smiled and let out a yawn.
"I thought you had left". I said moving over to him. I planted a kiss on his cheek making him smile.
"I wanted to stay". He replied laying a fresh batch of pancakes on the table. "And Charlie called me".
"Seriously? He did?"
Jasper nodded. "He wanted me to check up on you while he's gone for a few days".
I smiled. Thank you Uncle Charlie.
"Fishing trip?"
Jasper nodded. "He said that he would be back in a few days". Jasper replied as I sat down at the table.
"Did he also happen to mention that eggs and pancakes were my favorite or did Edward tell you that?"
Jasper smirked and placed another plate of eggs on the table.
"If you must know Bella happened to mention it to me when I asked her about you yesterday".
"You asked her about me?"
Jasper smiled and sat down beside me. "Of course I did Hannah. I love you-"
My fork dropped. "You love me..."
"With all that I am. Your everything to me". Jasper said. A few tears fell down my cheek and wrapped my arms around him. I knew that Jasper loved me. I could feel it every minute that I was around him, but to hear him say it out loud. It made my heart flutter.
"I-I love you too Jasper". I finally told him. Jasper smiled and brought my lips to his.
"As much as I want to keep you all to myself today, I'm afraid I can not". Jasper said pulling away from me. I raised an eyebrow at him. I was pretty sure that I hadn't made any plans for today...unless Alice made some for me already. Without my consent. I groaned. It seemed like something she would do. Again.
"Why not?" I asked him crossing my arms over my chest.
"Alice already called this morning". I groaned.
"Oh no".
Jasper kissed my cheek. "You'll Be Fine". He said. "Besides I told Alice that she could not have you for the whole day. Tonight is for us".
I smiled at the thought of a night with just Jasper. Just the two of us together. I couldn't stop myself from blushing. "Well then I'm definitely looking forward to an evening with just you". Jasper smirked and brought his face to mine.
"As am I my dear".

And that marks the end of this book! Thank you guys so much for devouring this book and enjoying it. I really appreciate it. A book 2 is in the works, but I'm working slowly on it cause I got other projects going on, but it will be up soon.

Update 2020: there is not going to be a book 2. I'm sorry guys. I know many of you have enjoyed this story and want more. However I'm just not enjoying writing at the moment. Maybe one day there will be a book 2, but for now there is not.
