i took her out for a breather the next day after the fright she suffered the night before. she was still traumatised.
because of that, she insisted on following me all around the house. i found it so adorable because she would observe all around her before letting her guard down and relaxing.
i made her breakfast and served it to her on the table. ham and sausages were her favourite to have in the morning.
she pulled me by my hand.
"sit down jinyoung." "why? i'll just be washing the dishes before i eat. don't worry. nothing's around here." "no baejin. eat with me."
i had to compromise as her doe eyes were melting me.
we are currently walking around the park. the gentle breeze made her hair look tousled and she looked beautiful.
"how mesmerising." "what?" "n-nothing."
her hair was blown beyond her shoulders by the wind and i loved it.
"jinyoung. stop staring."
oops. i got caught.
i scratched the back of my neck and let out an embarrassed laugh. i'm pretty sure i sounded like a dying puppy because i saw her eyes turn into crescents while giggling. i'm glad i made her happy.
on the way home, our hands were brushing past each other's. i had the strong urge to grasp onto her hand and never let go. but i know it was going to be too awkward for us once we reach home and let go. we were not a couple anyway.
her hands would send little pulses of shock all around my body. this feeling made me oddly comfortable but cold at the same time, as if i was missing something.
"jinyoung?" "hm?" "do you like me? you know, as more than just friends?"
oh no. what should i do? keep it a secret? or hold both her hands and tell her i may just have feelings for her?
