"hey, jinyoung?"
i immediately stood up from my sitting position. i felt a tap on my back, swinging my head around to see her face just inches away from mine.
"y-yea?" "don't you need to go back for practice?" "i was j-just..." "waiting for my reply?"
my ears perked up once she said that. i looked at her with slightly widened eyes, anticipating her answer.
"i guess we can restart." "restart?" "yeah. nice to meet you."
she reached out her hand for a handshake. i looked at her with disbelief.
"h-hi. i'm jinyoung."
our palms made contact and once again, all the butterflies in my stomach were set free.
she looked at me with a slight smile, but i could sense some sadness in her eyes.
at that moment, she had only one thought in mind, "will he promise to never leave me again?"
