Yesterday had been a mess. I didn't talk to the guys after the condom incident even though I told that girl, Ellie, who I met on the bathroom, I would.

But now I was at home hoping neither of them would get in any sort of contact with me.

I just sat on my laptop watching some Youtubers.

Suddenly I got a text. It was from Blake. Blake?

'Wear something pretty tonight :)'

Tonight? What was tonight?

Oh god. I was going to eat with him. I had totally forgotten.

'What, like a dress?' I wrote back.

I waited only a few seconds until he replied. 'Something like that'

I smiled and shook my head at that. He usually didn't ask me to wear anything special when we did homework.

'So which subject are we doing? History?' I sent to get to the bottom of this.

I waited for a while, checking my closet for a pretty dress. Then I heard my phone beep.

'No homework.'

No homework? Wow, we were actually just going out for dinner, the two of us. Some quality Lucy-Blake time.

 "Mom?" I called down stairs. "How do I wear 'something pretty' to a dinner?"

I heard footsteps and then saw mom in my doorway. "Shopping?"

"No shopping."

She made a pouty face and walked in. She looked inside my closet and started asking questions. "Are you going with Logan?"

"No."

"What?" she asked still looking for an outfit. "Who then?"

 "Blake," I replied in an exhale scrolling through my Twitter feed on my phone.

She looked at me forming an 'O' with her lips. Then she looked away smiling, still looking for something I could wear.

"What was that?" I asked.

"It's nothing. I just knew it would happen eventually," she replied holding up a blouse I had bearly worn and putting it back. "Just be careful, okay?"

"O...kay...?" I said raising an eyebrow.

"Here. Wear this." She held up a pretty mustard colored dress with thin straps and a little open in the back. I didn't even know I had that.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure."

~~~
I heard a beep outside. He was here.
"Okay, I'm gonna go now!" I called at mom who was in the kitchen.
"Have fun!" she called back.
I had one last look in the mirror. I didn't have too much make-up. Well for me it was a lot but apperantly it wasn't. I had some black eyeliner and red lipstick. And that was pretty much it. Mom made my eyeliner do a 'flick' of sorts and said it looked better. She was right.
I walked outside to see Blake leaning against his car. He looked fancy-casual.
"You look beautiful!" he said smiling.
"Thank you!" I said probably blushing. "That's very nice of you! So where are we going?" I asked getting inside the car.
"I don't know. I wanna go somewhere we would never think about going." I looked at him squinting one eye.
