Chapter 47

Me and niamh was still at Joe's in the early hours of the morning getting drunk on cheap garage wine talking about bad relationships we've had in the past. Me and niamh got so drunk that we couldn't go home so joe let me and niamh share his bed as it was the comfiest and he takes the spare bed as it's not so nice to sleep on. At this point me and niamh didn't care about sharing a bed we where just happy to be sleeping......

I woke up feeling like shit. I turned around and niamh was still sleeping, I knew joe was awake because through the Bluetooth speakers around the house he had really old music on singing along to it in the kitchen. I found a dressing gown hanging up on  the door so I put it on tied it up and walked to the kitchen.

Joe:Wow u look like shit.

Me:Aww thanks joe.
I said as I was sitting on the stall facing the kitchen.

Joe:I'm making bacon sarnies. I've made u one.

Me:omg. I love u so much. Ur the best.

Joe:Love ya too. Brown sauce or red sauce.

Me:Brown on one and red on the other.

Joe:No way that's exactly how caspar used to have his.

Me:What can I say me and caspar have good taste.

Joe: Obviously not in men or women.

Me:Yeah.

Joe:Sorry too soon.

Me:It's okay. I just need to get over it he's bad news.

Joe:Thats my girl.

Joe handed me a plate with bacon sarnies and it looked absolutely delicious. I picked one up and took a bite from it, I felt the sauce wheezing out of the bread.

Joe:Haha you've got something round ur lips.
He said, he got his thumb and wiped it off. And we suddenly made really romantic I contact not saying a word and continuing to stare into each other's eyes, 10 seconds later joe leaned in and kissed me. It felt so wrong but so right at the same time. Then whist we where in the middle of kissing we heard the floors creak. We immediately pulled away wipes our lips and continued eating our back  in silence.

Niamh:Joe do u have any aspirin

Joe:Yeah in that cupboard over there.

Niamh:Thanks.

Niamh felt the awkward atmosphere between me and joe and she looked at me with a confused look on her face I shrugged my shoulder and looked down at my plate. Me and Joe made eye contact and we just started laughing.

Niamh:What's the joke.

Joe:ohh I was telling Ellie a story about caspar before u got up and he told me not to tell u.

Niamh:ohh go on I won't tell u told.

Me:It was about caspars....... Bowel movement.

Niamh:Stop right there. I'm going to get dressed me and u have some things to do today Ellie.

Me:Yeah I know I'll be in the bedroom in a minute just finishing my bacon.

Niamh:okay.
Niamh walked away and I instantly turned to Joe

Joe:Well that was close.

Me:I know. Y didn't we tell her.

Joe:It too risky.

Me:So what is this. I'm so confused lol.

Joe:Me too what do u want it to be.

Me: Idk. I just broke up from the person I loved now this. It felt so weird but so right.

Joe: Too me it just felt right.

Me:okay. Instead of making this a thing we can just see how things go and sneak around till we know ourselves what this is.

Joe:Sounds like a good idea to me.
Joe kissed me on the lips and I pulled away.

Joe:I've been waiting for this for so long.

Me:I know. Right I need to go now get changed.

Joe:okay.

I walked away but as I did I turned around slightly and seen joe doing a little dance of excitement.

I walked in the bedroom and niamh was sitting on the bed going on pintrest.

Me:Hey.

Niamh:What what that out there?

Me: What do u mean?

Niamh:Between u and joe. There was something going on there. It was like an awkward atmosphere between u two.

Me:I don't know what ur on about.

Niamh:I think uve forgotten that me and u have been friends for 10-11 years now, I know u so well as u do me. We can read each others mind. So what was that.? Don't make me get it out of u.

Me:It's nothing honestly. It was just what joe told u.

Niamh:Wow it hurts that I don't tell me stuff after ten years of friendship.
She said as she fake cried.

Me:Niamh u don't tell me half of the stuff about u.

Niamh:I tell u more things the I tell anyone else.

Me:Fine we kissed.
I snapped.
I realised what I said and started pacing the room.

Niamh got up and pointed her finger at me.

Niamh:I KNEW IT. What does this mean.

Me:We haven't decided ourselves yet.

Niamh:Shittttttt. For some reason I'm really happy for u.

Me:Thanks I guess.......
