Me:NOOO DONT. I wasnt even suppose to tell u.

Niamh:So u expect me to keep a secret from Brad.

Me:Plz Niamh.

Niamh:Yeah okay. I lie to him on the daily I'm sure this one won't hurt.

I hugged her.

Me:I forgot where do we have to be today.

Niamh:Well as your not pregnant now the manager wants u in the office and she wants me to come too.

Me:okay shit. Anything else.?

Niamh:We r meeting lara apparently she needs to tell u something really important.

Me:Jeeze sound serious.

Niamh: Probably not tbh. U know what lara's like she probably seen dogs liking each other and are planning their weddings 😂

Me:Thats a weird example but I get u.

Niamh:Come on let's go.

I walked over to Joe and gave him a hug, he was about to kiss me but I pulled away because I didn't want things to go to fast. We walked out of the flat and I drove us to the hospital where me and niamh worked. We we to the managers office and knocked on the door she let us in.

Manager:Hello girls please have a seat.

Niamh:Is there a problem.?

Manager:Well secretly I've been keeping an eye on you girls, since u have gotten known by most people due to who u are dating, and there has been alot of incidents where people have been faking illness or injuries just to see u guys here and to talk to u. Now for the reputation of this hospital we can't keep u on anymore.

Me:What do u mean. Me and niamh worked out butts of to be here. We got our qualification, trust me as teenagers like us that was hard, we where lazy and didn't want to study. But we got here because we wanted a decent job where we could get money and lead a healthy life. So u can't just sack us because of who we are and aren't dating.

Manager:Ellie we don't want any trouble here we just want the safety of our patients. U are good workers agreed but we can't keep u on due to the circumstance. We will give u a good reference for any job u will carry on with but for now u can't work here.

Niamh:This is a fucking joke u can't do this.

Manager:Thars it, you are dismissed.

Niamh:This isn't over.

Manager:Good day miss corrigan.

Me: Niamh come on we don't want to waist our breath here. Let's leave.

Me and niamh slammed the door as we walked out, we took deep breaths and went to the staff room to say goodbye to all our colleagues and cleared out our lockers. With white boxes in our arms we exited the hospital and didn't turn back.
Niamh got into the car and she started crying.

Niamh:Ellie I can't do this.

Me:do what.?

Niamh:Everything. I actually enjoyed going to work it cleared my head of everything, now I cant go because I'm dating the man I love and I'm getting punished for it.

I placed my hand on her back.

Me:I know Niamh. Everything will be okay.

Niamh:U don't know that. What am I going to do now. Work at the nearest corner shop.
