Nico's P.O.V.

Walking down the hall was a pain to do. So many people casually talking and avoiding me. It's like... if you want to be accepted, you have to talk.

Talk normally, that is.

You see, I have a speech disorder. Most of the words I say don't come out properly, causing me to say that word twice. My sister says it's cute... yeah, right.

I've tried to talk to multiple times to talk to people. All I've ever gotten from social interactions is that people "don't have time for all that stuttering crap".

So I just keep my mouth shut most of the time. It's not I have anyone to talk to, anyhow.

"Move it, loser," someone shouted, running into me at a good fifteen miles per hour.

I collapsed onto the floor, catching myself on my hands and knees, which both now felt burned and scraped.

Mumbling, I said the worst words I could think of:

"You deserve deat-death."

Fudge! I silently scolded myself for messing that up. Just making it sound like "deathdeath".

Out of nowhere, there was low laughs from a human in front of me.

They probably heard my stutter. But I gave them an under-eye death glare. That only caused more laughter.

I grabbed my stuff in a hurry, not wanting to mess around with this person anymore. As I was about to place my scraped hand on the ground, a slightly darker one appeared in front of my head.

"Here." The same guy who had been chuckling at me.

"E-oh, okay," I snapped at him. "Mek-make fun of me tah-then try and help meh-me."

"I... I wasn't trying to hurt you," the boy said. "I just thought... I just thought 'dethdeath' was extremely cute."

"GAAA-AAY!" Someone shouted as a tall figure ran past us.

"So what if I am?!" The other boy shot back as the figure ran out of sight.

I froze.

He was... gay...

And wasn't afraid of it.

"Uh... sorry about that," he said, putting a tanned hand on the back of his had while holding the other towards me. "Will Solace. Transfer student."

I shook his hand. "Nico di Angelo."

Will looked at me with pure lust in his eyes. "Well, Nico di Angelo," he said,

There was a pause, where we just stared into each others eyes. His were the most amazing shade of blue I'd ever seen.

"I... I think I'd like to ask you out."

"Yes." I said as quickly as possible. I was so surprised I didn't mess it up, that my brain didn't even process that people were staring.

"Well, Nico, lets get away from this horrid place."

And... I'm pretty sure I'm in love with this Will Solace.

I mean, c'mon! He took me to McDonald's!

And paid.
