Sorry for not updating as much as I'd like to. I just... I'm not very creative.

Alright, so, this one shot, there will be Percy being an ass and Will kicking his ass. SO GET READY!

I sat down at the diner table I'd reserved for two. Percy should be here any minute now. We'd been planning this date for a month now, and this would be the first time we'd be somewhat alone together.

Just friends, I remind myself. We're just friends. Two bros, chilling at a restaurant, five floor tiles apart 'cause he's not gay. He was bisexual.

"Excuse me," a waiter said. He wore a red tuxedo, just like all the other waiters/waitresses. "Are you ready to order now, Mr. di Angelo?" I tried not to giggle as he pronounced "di" as "deh".

"Uh, just give me a minute," I say, looking at the door. "He'll be here in a moment." The waiter smiled and went to the table behind me, who had just finished eat and was ready to pay. There was a boy -- about my age, give or take a year -- and someone who looked like his mom. The boy had stunning blond hair while his mother rocked a light brown bun.

I caught myself staring, so I started to look at the menu. There were some good things on here. Nothing compared to Happy Meals, though.

The front door's bell jingled and I looked up, hoping and praying that it was Percy.

It wasn't. It was some girl with a dog who looked like Elle Woods from Legally Blonde.

I looked around the restaurant, hoping none of these high-class people saw my anxious expression.

But people saw. They were staring, yet I could feel one set of eyes stronger than the others.

The boy from the table behind me. Shimmering golden hair falling around his face is crispy locks. Absolutely stunning.

The young man leaned towards his mother. "Ma, you can go. I'm going to meet a friend." The waiter returned with the woman's credit card, and the mother and child said their goodbyes at the door.

People were still watching me stare at the door, I still had a hopeful look on my face. Maybe Percy would decide to show up at the last moment. The eyes on me made me blush.

Outside, I noticed how, once the mother walked away, the blond boy walked back in. He walked towards me -- no. He walked towards the table he was sitting at. Maybe he forgot something?

I looked at the menu again, not expecting to hear someone slide the chair in front of me out.

"Hi." It was the boy from the table behind me. "My name is Will Solace, but if anyone asks, I'm -- what was your date's name?"

"Percy Jackson?" My tone was real questioning.

"Then that's what you'll call me until this 'date' is over." Will seemed very intent on that statement.

"Ah!" The waiter arrived at lightning speed. "Mr. Jackson, you've made it!" I looked around. Nobody was looking at me anymore.

Will smiled at the waiter.

"What can I get for you two?"

I was going to order the cheapest thing they had, seeing as this wasn't a real date, but Will insisted on something better, saying he'd pay. And he stood by his words.

We ended up talking a lot, exchanging phone numbers and talking about ourselves and our close relatives. Just stuff normal people of dates did.

But once the food was ate and the check was paid, Will and I stood at the entrance. "Nico," he said with a sheepish look on his face. "I... actually had a really great time, pretending to be this Percy Jackson and all."

I smiled at him. "Yeah, me too."

There was a long pause. I decided to be the dominate one and break it.

"I was wondering if you'd like to do it again!" I kind of blurted out the words really quickly. "Except next time... you're Will Solace."

Will smiled at me. "You have my number, just call me later."

... Was that a yes? I'll take it as one.
