Draco And Harry: A Love Story

Chapter 3: The Hunt

Their last school year at Hogwarts had finally ended. Draco and Harry had decided to move in together at James and Lily's house. Draco had joined Harry at work as an Auror and they regularly floo'd there together. One day Draco was in Harrys office and Harry was livid. "What on Earth do you mean they broke out?! 20!!!!!! Bloody hell!!!! 20 death eaters broke out of Azkaban?! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?! Yes! Give me a ring later on, I'm going out hunting, and I'm taking Draco with me, goodbye Remus." Draco stared at the floor, terrified.

"A-anyone terribly dangerous?" Harry nodded. "It seems your aunt Bellatrix has escaped... again... as well as both of the Carrows, McNair, Rookwood and 15 others. All are armed and dangerous" Draco simply nodded and asked "When do we leave?" "Now." Harry said as he packed all of the necessary supplies for 4 weeks into 2 bags.

The next thing Draco knew, they were standing in the ruins of an old cemetery. "We have to wait for the other Aurors to arrive, they should be here-" before Harry could finish, James, Lily, Sirius, Remus, Tonks, Fred, George, Dobby, Ron, Hermione, Seamus, McGonagall, and Moody had all appeared with a deafening bang. "Alright listen up" Said Moody sternly, "Our top priority target is Bellatrix LeStrange. As all of you know she is insane, and pissed off, which, speaking from personal experience, is a bad combination. Use extreme caution, DO NOT APPROACH HER ALONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!" They all nodded and split into groups of 8. Draco, Harry, Remus, Sirius, Lily, James, Dobby, and Tonks, were the first group and the rest were the second.

The first group locked arms and apparated to a village a few miles away from the cemetary. It was a sorry excuse for a village, one pub, and one restaurant, nothing else except for about 17 houses and one abandoned Manor that almost rivaled Malfoy Manor. Once there they split off into teams of 4 to search the village, Draco, Harry, Dobby, and James were Alpha team, Remus, Sirius, Lily, and Tonks were Bravo team. The groups went off in seperate directions, Alpha team taking the half of the village with the Manor, Bravo team taking the half the pub and restaurant. "This place is creepy, Dad." Whispered Harry. "Yeah, it reminds me of this one time your mum and I-" Harry cut him off, there was a light on in the Manor. "Draco and I will take the left flank, you and Dobby take the right, wands ready, let's move!"

Draco walked stealthily behind Harry, wand ready. They arrived at the side door and Draco whispered "Alohomora"  the door clicked gently and Draco pushed ut open "Lumos duo" a bright light shone from the tip of his wand. "First room is clear, moving to the stairs" Draco whispered, not even a hint of fear in his voice. The stairs were empty, they moved up and met up with James and Dobby who had cleared the rest of the bottom floor. Draco looked around and saw the room with the light on, they moved toward it and opened it slowly. There was a witch and a wizard in there with their wands at the ready. "Avada Kedavra" yelled the witch, Draco thought quickly and yelled "Stupify!" The spells hit each other in mid air and made a small explosion. There were spells flying towards everybody in all directions! "Avada Kedavra!" "Stupify!" "Expelliarmus!" "Crucio!" "Impedimenta!" "Reducto!" "Expulso!" "Levicorpus!" Then James and Harry said at the same time "Incarcerous!" At once both the witch and wizard fell to the floor, they were bound up in chains. Draco looked over at them and said "It's the Carrows Harry.".  Harry apparted the prisoners to Moody, the others following soon after. "Well done, I'll take them back to the ministry. In the meantime I want all of you together in case you find LeStrange. In a second Moody was gone and the 15 remaining were off to search for Bellatrix.

Draco and Harry were in a graveyard, but not just any graveyard, this is the graveyard where Harry fought Voldemort for the first time all those years ago...
