Tris awoke to the buzzing of her alarm on her mobile. What an irritating noise, she thought. The world outside of her bed was far too cold, too cold for penguins to live in. Tris grabbed her phone and glanced at the time. 6:30 am. Way too early, but today was Tris' first real day at Chicago State, so she had to be ready.

Christina seemed to have already showered and was towel drying her hair. She wore a purple and yellow strappy sundress. It was rather low cut, but not too low cut. It sculpted in at her waist and showed off her figure. Tris became immediately envious. The only figure she had was a figure of one.

Tris climbed out of bed slowly. She wobbled when she stood up, the cold floor sending shocks through her feet and ankles.

"Hey, are you okay?" Christina giggled.

"I'm good." Tris murmured, walking over to the mirror, "And of course, today I get pimples.

"Well, I am the master of concealing things." Christina said. "And by that - I mean pimples ..."

Tris said nothing, but she smiled all the same. She turned around and grabbed one of her towels from a drawer under her bed, and got some shower gel and hair wash.

"Little tip Tris, they're communal showers, so tie the towel tightly. I learned that the hard way!" Christina cried.

"Will do," said Tris, as she walked out the door, looking for the shower rooms.

-----------------------------------------------------------

It wasn't very difficult for Tris to find the showering rooms, mainly because wet footprints lined the oak floors like a trail. Tris looked around. Either people showered yesterday or she was really early. She didn't know if this was a good or a bad thing, but she liked the privacy.

She stepped down a corridor, which broke off into a another corridor. Tris was beginning to think she was lost, but was relieved when she saw a steamy glass door with a cartoon shower sticker on.

Tris pushed open the door. The room was so steamy she couldn't see her own hand in front of her. In the distance, Tris could hear showers, so she began to walk toward the noise. She wore a thin green shirt, some shorts and a pair of flip flops.

Stumbling across the wet tiles, Tris tried to steady herself with anything she could grab on to. When she got the hang of it, she stood up straight and walked, confidently, to the shower sounds.

Turns out this was not a good idea as she walked straight into someone who only had a towel around their waist. Their torso was damp, their stomach hard with muscle. This can't be good, Tris thought.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" Tris wailed.

"It's o-" The boy stopped talking, "Tris?"

His voice sounded vaguely familiar. Tris looked up to confirm her thoughts.

"Four!" She cried, "Oh my ... I'm-"

"It's ok, it is foggy, look I have to run, but I'll see you tonight at eight. don't forget!" Four said, walking out of the shower room smirking.

-------------------------------

After Tris had showered, gone back to her room, and got ready for class it was already 7:55am. Classes started in five minutes. Great.

It had taken her a while to overcome the embarrassment of the morning. Walking into Four, what was she thinking? And they were going out tonight. What would he say to her? Would he even mention it? Tris hoped not.

Tris grabbed her Chicago State Survival Pack which had been given to her on her arrival. Inside the pack was a map, her timetable and information about the school. She took her timetable from the pack and saw her first class. Gardening. What sort of school does gardening classes? This class was in A1, which happened to be on the other side of school. And with five minutes to get there, she set off, nerves sinking in.
