Christina had come to terms about life. It was cruel, unforgiving and all around tough. She'd also come to terms with her life, too. She was cruel, unforgiving, but not tough. She was weak, weaker than ever.

Every so often, when she felt more alone than usual, she'd sit and think about that day. Oh, that day. What a day!

But, now was not the time to be dwelling in the past. It was time for plan number two ...

"What room is he in?" Christina demanded.

Mrs Pedrad's hands shook, as did her whimpers as she cried. Mr Pedrad was the total opposite, he sat bolt upright, not moving a muscle. Not even blinking as far as Christina could see. Match made in heaven, Christina thought, smirking.

"Come on! I do not have all day!"

"What do you want?" Mrs Pedrad asked, fear clearly detectable in her voice.

"I want to know what room Uriah is in." Christina said, getting bored. She looked at her nails, and began picking at them.

"But why?" Mr Pedrad's steady voice sounded.

"I have unfinished business with him." Christina told them, looking at the couple intently.

Mr Pedrad shifted on the floor, and Mrs Pedrad huddled closer into his chest, burying her face into the dip of his shoulder. It was interesting for Christina to see the intimidation she had on these people. Especially since this was their first meeting. Well, their first real meaning.

"Come on. I do not have all day. Just tell me, I swear I won't tell a living soul." Christina said. Gods, only if they knew, she thought.

Mrs Pedrad began to speak, but her voice drowned out into a murmour. The woman exchanged a look with her husband. He gave her a stern stare, which Christina couldn't blame him for. If she were in his position, she would be skeptical, too.

"I don't trust you." He said to Christina, shuffling on the stone floor he sat on. It looked cold to Christina. Like a deep grey ice covered the entire closet floor. The single light bulb fluttered like a butterfly's wings. The aura of light blinking like a thousand eyes.

"I don't trust myself, to be honest with you."

Mr Pedrad scoffed, "Then why are you doing this? You already put him inhere in the first place!"

"You have the right to be angry," Christina said, her boredom growing as big as an ocean.

"We have the right to be angry? Damn right we do! You put our son in a coma!" Mrs Pedrad shouted, her voice a strangled mess.

Christina stepped forward, standing over the Pedrads. Her hand clutched Mrs Pedrads' chin and jaw tightly, the skin turning yellow from the immediate pressure. Mrs Pedrad whimpered, tears rolling slowly down her round, olive toned cheeks. Christina stared intently into Mrs Pedrads eyes and spoke, her words tumbling out of her mouth in growls and snarls.

"Listen, Uriah didn't finish our deal. A deal he agreed to, alright? I didn't force him into it, he chose it," She loosened her grip on Mrs Pedrads chin, but kept her stare. "So you either tell me what room he's in, or you'll join him on the ward," Mrs Pedrads' face lightened a little. She'd clearly misread Christina's message.

"In the bed next to him."

"Someone should get a nurse." Tris said to Uriah.

Uriah was sat up in bed, his back resting against about a dozen pillows. He looked comfortable. But that was the point. Even though he looked comfortable, he probably wasn't and it was all because of Christina.

Uriah laughed a little, shaking his head. "We can get a nurse later. Right now, I'm just enjoying being awake."

"Of course you are," Tris said. "Why didn't I think of that?"

"Tris. I'm fine." Uriah said, rubbing his thumb across the top of her hand. It tickled a tiny bit, which made Tris shiver.

"You cold?" Four asked, from his chair on the other side of the room.

"No." Tris mumbled.

The room fell silent after that. Tris stared at the floor. It was so dirty in here. There were thousands of dust bunnies, scratch that, thousands upon thousands of dust bunnies. The lights were forever flickering, random doors slamming down the hall. This place put Tris on edge, so she couldn't nearly imagine just how Uriah was feeling. Maybe she should ask him? No, he'd probably had enough of that.

The curtains hung loosely from dull poles attached to the wall. Their material was greying like the fur of an old dog. This room could have been nice, once. Maybe if you painted it and replaced absolutely every piece of furniture. The only thing that seemed to be in good condition was Uriah's heart moniter, which Tris was instantly grateful for.

"Where's my mom and dad?" Uriah asked, not directing his question to anyone inparticular.

"I don't know, they left a while ago, maybe they're in the cafeteria? They mentioned they hadn't eaten in a while." Caleb told him.

"Oh, right." Uriah said, looking at his hands.

The air in the room stiffened.

"Maybe someone should go look for them?" Tris suggested.

"They'll be back soon." Uriah muttered.

Tris turned her head, her eyes searching around the room. She stared at the door. The translucent glass wasn't grey, like it normally was, it was as if someone was stood behind it, trying to look in on them.

Tonnes of questions flooded Tris' mind. Who was that? What did they want? Why where they there?

"Four?" Tris said, not taking her eyes off the door.

"Yeah?" Four asked. "Tris?"

"Could you go check outside for me please?"

"Alright, sure." Four said, getting off his chair. His hand clutched the door knob, and turned it.

The door swung open. Tris peered behind Four's back. No body was there. Four stuck his head out of the door frame, and looked left then right.

"Nothing." Four said, shrugging.

"Never mind. I just thought I saw something."

At that moment, Tris' phone vibrated in her pocket. She let go of Uriah's grasp for a second, taking her phone out. She had a message from an unknown number.

You did see something, Beatrice. keep your eye on Caleb, I'm coming for him next.

Tris didn't even need to guess who that was from, she had a pretty good idea about that.

What she also knew was that she, Caleb, Four and Uriah had to get the hell out of that hospital before it was too late.
