It was all getting out of hand, Christina thought. She did so much for Tris and all Tris did was throw it back in her face and spend all her time with Four. In the months they'd been at Chicago State, Tris had never asked Christina out anywhere. What was worse was that Christina hadn't really made friends with anyone else at school ... yet.
She sat in the abandoned room next to her dorm. There was a dark wood desk in the centre, with two matching chairs placed on either side of it. A single bulb dangled above the desk, the dim light flickering every now and then. Christina sat on one chair and Uriah sat on the other.
"I can't believe you! You did it all wrong!" Christina whispered loudly, raking her hands through her short brown hair.
"I'm s s sorr-r-y Chris-s." Uriah stammered.
Christina bit her lip. If he didn't get that stutter sorted soon ... She stopped herself. She needed to know the rest.
"Tell me again what happened. Do not miss a detail out."
Uriah stared at the table for a moment, before speaking, "I asked her to go out to dinner with me and a few others, you know to make it seem casual, and she agreed. Then I asked her about her date with Four and she got weird, s-s-sort of embarrassed."
"Then what?" Christina sled, slamming her palms down on the desk.
"I asked her if she'd ever consider going on a date with me, like you told me to, and ..."
"And what?" Christina demanded, a snarl escaping her lips.
"She ran away. I've told you this before, why do you need to know again?" Uriah said, not taking his eyes off the wooden table in front of him.
"Don't question me," Christina said standing up. "You can go."
"Thankyou." He said, scurrying out of the room like a mouse running for a cheese cube.
Interesting, Christina thought.

Those stupid camera's had ruined Tris' night with Four. Without the camera shutters going off every ten seconds, they had the best night. They had talked to eachother and laughed, but Four kissing her was the best part. She would never admit it to him, but that was her first kiss ... ever. Of course she'd been kissed by her mum and her dad, but never a guy. Tris blushed quickly, but it soon dissapeared when she remembered why she'd left Four's room.
Tris' heart pounded as loudly as her feet did going up the stairs. The wooden floors shook under her weight, which should have offended Tris, but at this point she didn't care.
She threw open the door to her room and dived onto her bed face first.
"Someone's in a fantastic mood this morning!" Christina said, lounging on her bed, painting her toenails a saffron yellow colour.
Tris looked over to her and glared at her for a second.
"What?" Christina ased.
"Nothing. Hey, have you heard any camera shutters going off recently?" Tris asked, rolling onto her side, resting her head on a cushion.
Tris swore she saw Christina's eyes widen slightly before she spoke, "No, why?"
"I've been hearing them everywhere." Tris said.
"You know what that is, don't you?" Christina said, placing the nail paint brush back into the pot.
"No, what is it?" Tris asked, curiosity taking over.
