The cold weather was beginning to make an appearance in Chicago. The trees had lost their leaves, making them look like a gnarled, boney hand that should belong to a witch. Gardening class was put on halt because everyone's plants were wilting, but Tris really didn't mind that because her lupin was already fully grown, grabbing her the A she wanted.

Tris sat in the Dauntless living area. The room was longer than it was wide, with mis-matching couches pottered about. There was a grand terra cotta fireplace in the centre of the room, giving out puffs of hot air every once and a while. The hot air hit Tris' cheek, she smiled as goosebumps appeared up and down her arms.

The walls in the living area were painted a pale yellow colour, something really neutral. But you couldn't really see the walls as they were coated in picture frames from past Dauntless members and Dauntless achievements. Tris hoped one day she'd be up there, but she didn't know what for. Growing a great flower, maybe?!

Curling up into a ball, Tris put down her revision guide. She'd been sat there for two hours at least, so a huge head ache had formed. She sighed. English revision was too much, but with midterms coming up, revision was desperately needed. Her class was studying 'Of Mice and Men' by John Steinback, which Tris had to admit, she found rather boring.

Tris grabbed two paracetamol from the kitchen and washed them down with lemonade. She quickly resumed her post on the couch and started to revise again. Back to the land of fun,Tris thought.

After revising for what felt like an eternity, Tris retired to her room. She was hungry as

hell, her stomach growling like an angry dog, but she was way too exhausted to make a snack. As she got to her room, she had a thought. A brilliant thought.

"Hey Chris," Tris said. "I won't be too long, I'm just gathering a couple things."

"Wha-What for?" Christina said, wiping her eyes and stretching, Tris had clearly woken her up.

"I will tell you tomorrow. Goodnight." Tris said, she looked down at the bag she had thrown some things into and left the room.

The hallways were dark and smelled really damp but maybe that was because they lived in an attic? Who knows?

Tris paced down the stairs, keeping her hands on the wooden bannister at all times. She must be the only one awake in the sector. But that thought soon disappeared as she heard the sound of video games through the wall.

She quickly got where she wanted to be and knocked on the door. This may take a while, Tris thought. As she stood waiting, she heard footsteps pounding down the stairs and through the hall. Then she heard something she wasn't expecting, a camera shutter. So,done had just taken a picture of her, weird.

Then the door swung open, revealing a very hot but very naked Four, who was clearly half asleep still.

"Who is it?" He murmured.

"It's me" Tris said, not taking her eyes off his toned body for a second.

Then she heard the camera shutter again. She looked around but could see no one. What the hell was going on?

"What can I help you with, Bea?" He asked, his eyes opening fully. Tris peeled her eyes away from his chest and looked up at him, the golden green of his eyes making her feel whole.

"Can I stay with you tonight?" Tris asked, her cheeks heating up, she felt stupid for even coming here but hey ho.

"What's wrong?" He says, ."Did you and Christina fight?"
