Victor POV

I watch Yuri devour the last of the cereal and smile sweetly at him and a small blush appears on his cheeks. I can't help but wonder about what he thinks about yesterday and the kiss.

Whats the worst that can happen if I just ask? I guess i'll find out...

"Yuri?" I say softly.

"Yeah"

"I just wanted to ask... you know, about yesterday."

"What about yesterday?" He says whilst looking at the ground trying to avoid the question.

"You know... when I..." I begin, my speech slowly fading out and I mumble so he can't hear.

"You mean the kiss...?" He replies in a small voice.

"Not just that, the whole night, I was wondering if maybe you'd like to maybe do something like that again?"

I see his face light up a little at my last question and I let out a sigh of relief.

He smiles at me then replies "Yes Victor I think that would be very nice." He stands up and wraps his arms around me forcefully, I fall backwards onto my makeshift bed and he lands on top of me. We both giggle a bit before getting up. Then I check my phone and realise its already 8:30.

"Shit Yuri, we've got to go were gunna be late."

He grabs his phone from the bedside table and his bag from the floor, we dash downstairs and I grab both our coats handing him his and pulling my own on. By the time we're out the door its already 8:40 and if we walked we'd most certainly be late so I grab my car keys from my bag and tell Yuri to get in.

"Wait but where are you're parents? We're both 16 neither of us can drive." dun dun dun...

"Don't worry about it, just get in." He does as I say and I get in the drivers seat, buckling my seatbelt before quickly reversing out of the drive and then heading to school.

"I-I don't understand... How come you can drive?" He seems shocked, it shouldn't surprise me considering he thinks I'm 16 and you can't learn until you're 17.

"Don't worry about it. Its fine I have a licence, we won't get arrested."

"Victor you know that's not what I wanted to know..." he says frowning at me.

"Fine," I say more irritatedly than I mean to. "I'm not 16 I'm 17 and ill be 18 at Christmas." I calm down and say more softly "You remember my skating accident and I got ill? Anyways, when I was in hospital for those four months I found it really difficult to keep up with all the school work. When I finally got out of hospital we had end of year exams and I failed so they held me back."

"So you're almost a whole year older than me? And here I was thinking I was older than you." He says scratching the back of his head.

"You're ok with this?" I ask giving him a side glance.

"Victor I get why you didn't tell people its fine, I probably would have done the same if I were you."

We turn a final corner and I pull into the school car park, I jump out as soon as I've parked Yuri following closely behind me. When we reach the gates they are closed and bolted shut, I check the time and its 8:52, we missed it. We walk round to the front entrance and walk through the door. The attendance office offers us both a piece of paper and a pen. On the paper it has a column for your name, the time and a reason for why you were late. I answer the first two sensibly putting the time in as '8:55', because it now is, and write my name as 'Victor Nikiforov', however when it comes to the last column I decide that the school clearly wants us to be truthful so put 'because Yuri Katsuki didn't have any clothes this morning.' I smirk at my comment and hand the paper back to lady in the office, Yuri following my lead and also handing his back.

"So what did you put for your reason?" I ask intrigued.

"I just said that I overslept. What did you put?"

I suppress a laugh and just say "yeah same."
