Yuri's Mother POV
The front door opens with a 'click' and I rise from the position on the sofa where I had been waiting. I stand frozen as Victor walks through the door with my little boy in his arms.
"Oh my god! What happened?" I ask my voice flooding with worry.
"I'm sorry, he's ok, I'll put him to bed then explain everything." The tall silver-haired boy mumbles.
While he's upstairs I have time to think about what I'm going to say. Getting riled up more by the very thought of my little Yuri unconscious in his arms.
When he returns i begin, "Is he drunk?" I question, folding my arms and scowling at him.
"Y-yes I'm sorry" Victor replies, his voice distant.
"How did this happen?"
He normally looks tall. but not now, his head is bowed in shame and he looks like he wants to escape to somewhere, anywhere but here. "I-i gave him a drink...I didn't realise what it was. I'm very sorry Mrs Katsiki."
"You're his boyfriend! You're supposed to look after him, not get him drunk at parties!" I can feel my voice becoming louder and harsher with every word until I'm full on yelling at the boy.
"I-" He started but I cut him off, the rage pouring out of my mouth.
"Why on earth would you think it would be a good idea to take a 16-year-old to a party like that?!...If you really cared about MY son you wouldn't put him at risk like that!"
The boy in front of me was pale and stood in shock, motionless "Jesus Christ! Say something!" I practically screamed at him.
"I-i" was all he managed to stutter, his eyes were glistening and his voice began to shake.
"Are you drunk? Did you drive home drunk?" I yell stepping closer to the quivering boy.
"I-i, No I would nev-"
"You're almost 18, why are you even with my son?" Anger was fuming from me and Victor had backed into a corner, tears trickling down his face.
"I-i'm sorry, p-please don't" He whispers, tripping over his words and falling to the ground, his anxiety getting the better of him.
Yuri POV
I wake up to a splitting headache and just about manage to sit up in my bed when I hear yelling coming from downstairs. I do my best to get up and walk slowly down the stairs gripping my head as if that would actually help.
When I reach the bottom of the stairs I see victor crouched in the corner of the room, tears streaming down his face and mumbling to himself and my mother stands at the other side of the room wearing a scowl. I run up to the silver-haired ball, crouching beside him and draw him into a hug, but he still shakes in my arms and cowers behind his own.
"What did you say to him?!" I screech at her. She looks down at me and begins to show a little remorse when she sees the worried look plastered on my face. But she just stands speechless so I turn back to my crying boyfriend. "Shhh, Shhh, everything's ok. I'm here, you're safe."
I sit with him for twenty minutes until his breathing begins to steady and he looks up into my eyes. "I-I'm sorry Yuri."
"You have nothing to be sorry for," I say wiping away his tears.
"Y-yes I do, I shouldn't be here." he grabs my hand pushing me away and shakily gets up, rushing into my room, grabbing his bag and charging back down the stairs towards the front door. I get there first and block it making a star shape with my body.
"Stop, please, can we just talk abou-"
He leans forward and kisses me, causing me to lose my thought process and I'm like putty in his hands. he pushes me against the wall to the side and opens the door, he then pulls away looking out into the darkness. "I love you Yuri Katsuki...But I'm not whats best for you."
"N-no" I reach out my hand to grab him but he's already gone.
A.N. UGH my writing sucks. But don't you love angst? ^-^
