This Can't be Real..

Chapter 6

(Connor's P.O.V)

It's been 2 weeks since Cathleen cheated on me, and broke up with me. I feel empty. Like apart of me is missing.

I went down stairs and watched some T.V.

I was home alone since Sam, Ricky , Kian, Jc and Trevor all went to the beach. They had asked me if I wanted to come, but I said no.

I can't believe that after 4 years of dating, Cathleen just ended it and cheated was I not good enough for her?

I was surfing through the channels, when I stopped on one that was playing Vampire Diaries. When the commercials came on, I was about to change it when something caught my eye. It was a commercial for an orphanage call Sun Side Orphanage; it showed sad little kids and my heart just broke.

Wait.. That's it!

I can get a kid to fill that missing space in my heart.

I heard the door open, then slam close and the boys yelling and laughing.

I hopped up, ran right to them and nearly slammed into them. "Wow! What the hell Conner, slow down." Kian said chuckling a little. "What happened? Did you set the house on fire again?" Sam asked in a sort of serious voice.

"That was one time! And I said I was sorry. God!" I said thinking about the memory. "Then what's wrong?" Ricky asked, snapping me back to reality. "Oh, yeah. You guys know how I've been all depressed and stuff..? Well yeah, I was watching T.V, and a commercial came on about an orphanage and the little kids looked so sad and it broke my heart so I was thinking.. why don't we adopt a kid and give them have a happy life?!"

All they did was laugh.

"What's so funny?" I said getting defensive. "Your kidding right?" Jc said while still laughing. "Dude, your only 20! You can't take care of a kid!" Kian looked at me like I was crazy. "Then we can get a older kid. Maybe around 14 to 16?"

"Actually, that doesn't sound that bad. And if it will make you happy Conner than I'm in for adopting." Sam and Trevor agreed with me.

"It will make me happy." I said, still trying to convince Kian, Jc and Ricky.
"Fine! Only if it makes you happy!" Ricky sighed, giving up; now Jc and Kian.

"I will only agree if, we get a kid that's  15 or 16. No older, no younger!" Kian demanded, Jc agreeing with him.

"YES,- Uh.. I mean.. Of course!" I said with a big smile on my face.

"YASSSSS! Can we go now; please?" "Fine." Kian rolled his eyes.

I can't believe this!

I'm going to be a Dad! I think I'm going to get a girl.. yeah Daddy's little girl sounds nice.

I hope she likes me.
