yours. a love story

it's nighttime and im currently waiting for justin to get dressed. he's so excited about this dinner we're having. it's cute though. the ross situation is no longer a thing in my mind. it hurts and i don't even dare to look at my phone but it's okay now. i feel better. im wearing a dark red dress, with black high heels. i look like a damn queen.

i smiled as justin walked out of the bathroom. he looked like a sugar daddy. tight grey shirt with black pants. his hair was perfectly done. he looked amazing. i stood up and glared at myself one last time. i smiled a bit and looked at justin, who was showering himself in cologne.

"ready? you look so damn beautiful." he said, in awe. i giggled and nodded while walking towards the door. he followed behind, then he opened the door.

"thank you." i smiled and walked out, i waited for him to lock the room. he walked towards me and grabbed my hand. it sent shivers down my spine. ugh im really starting to fall for justin. but ross. he, i know he loves me but shows it in an awful way.

we finally got to the restaurant. it was the same as the one we went for the military dinner. i just loved that restaurant so much. it's so unbelievably beautiful. he grabbed my hand and looked at me, stopping right at the door.

"i have a huge surprise for you." he said in my ear, while smiling. i giggled as his breath tickled my ear. a surprise?

"what? justin you didn't had to." i said while biting my lip. he smiled and shook his head while leading me into the restaurant. i looked around, the place was just so flawless. and everyone in here is just, so fuckin attractive.

we walked towards a table, i saw a little girl sitting in one table. making me miss my little baby so much. i wonder what she's doing. probably eating, she's a foodaholic like me. i sighed just missing story. justin lead me towards the place the little girl and a family were sitting at. he stopped at the table and i looked at the girls face. it was story.

i gulp and squealed when story  yelled mommy and jumped into my arms. i hugged her as hard as i could. gosh i missed her so much. she looked so cute. her hair was in braids and she looked absolutely adorable. i felt tears in my eyes.

"oh baby, mommy missed you so much." i sighed shakily, hugging her and kissing her cheek. i looked at justin and just smiled. loving his surprise.

"i want a hug!!" jax said, pouting. i giggled and sniffled, placing story down. i ran towards jax and picked him up. he looked exactly like justin  but younger. he even dressed the same. jaxon hugged me tight. i don't know him that much, but i love this little kid.

i placed him down and looked at pattie and jeremy. i sighed, feeling so overwhelmed, so excited. i hugged pattie and jeremy then walked toward justin and hugged him as tight as i possibly could.

"thank you so much." i said, pulling away from our hug. we both sat down and instantly started talking about the camp and how story was behaving, which was extremely good. i smiled, feeling Justin's hand on top of mine.

i heard someone say my name, so i looked around the restaurant. and what i saw, ruined my whole night. it was the lynches. sitting two tables away. what the hell are they doing here? i literally panicked and squeezed justin's hand. All of the lynches were looking at us.

"justin oh my god." i leaned and whispered in his ear, panicking. "they are all here." i said, looking over at him. justin sighed and kissed my head.

"baby, it's okay. enjoy tonight and forget they're here." he said, trying to relax me but i couldn't. they really fucked uo this time. i sighed shakily and shook my head.

"n..no. i, uh. i need to go to the bathroom." i said, quickly standing up and speed walking into the bathroom. once i was in, i sighed as i looked at myself in the mirror. i just can't believe they're here.

i didn't know they were in cali. couldn't they go to another restaurant? like fuck there are like 40 restaurants down the street but no. they wanted to come to my favorite one. like god damn. i sighed, not wanting to cry. after all they did on live tv. watch him lie about me cheating and throwing shade at me. i can't take it.

i placed my hands on my head and ran a hand through my hair. i sighed shakily, a few tears starting to fall from my eyes. i was so happy. my daughter is here. my other family is here and now they fucked up my night. my thoughts were interrupted by someone opening the bathroom door. i sniffled and wiped the tears off my cheeks, looking down.

"are you crying, dear?" i heard pattie's soft voice say. i relaxed and looked up at myself in the mirror, then at her. seeing worry in her beautiful green eyes.

"it's just.." i sighed, feeling more warm tears fall from my eyes. pattie gasped and quickly grabbed my face into her hands.

"what is it?" she asked, sweetly. i sighed and took a deep breath, feeling so weak. weaker then ever.

"my ex is here. and he has treated me so bad. seeing him just breaks me." i tried saying, but my little sobs made it a bit hard. pattie sighed and rubbed my forearm. "he even treated story badly. he loves seeing us miserable."

"listen. i know this may not help. but i went through the same." she started, looking at me. "but he doesn't deserve you. at all. not even your sadness. we are here with you. story is here. that's all you need. you're family now laura. justin adores you so much. and if he knew you're crying, he'd run into the ladies room and make stupid jokes until you laugh." she said, making us both giggle.

"that guy doesn't know what he misses out on. you're so smart and so kind. he doesn't deserve someone so perfect. let's make a deal yeah?" she said, wiping the tears off my cheeks. "you go out there and be happy. show them you are just fine without any of them." she finished, touching up my make up.

i smiled a bit. I've never had a mother figure in my life and seeing how pattie treats me, makes me so happy. she was right. i need to make them see im okay. and i don't need any of them. pattie fixed my make up and lipstick while saying how beautiful i looked. i didn't hesitate and hugged her. hard. she hugged back, making me so fucking happy.

pattie pulled away from our hug and walked towards the door, putting her hand out for me to grab. which i gladly did. we walked out of the bathroom hand in hand. we walked towards our table and i conld see the lynches looking at me. pattie seemed to notice since she squeezed my hand tight. i smiled as we reached our table. i sat next to justin and quickly grabbed his hand, wanting to feel him close. i started talking to story. completely forgetting they were here.
