Elisa's POV
Pain rushed up my spine as I felt it clicking and twisting. Freya's grip on me was strong, and I knew I had to do something. Managing to move my wrist, I gestured towards a table in the corner of the room and managed to make it move behind me, hitting her.
Freya dropped her hand, causing me to break free from her spell, falling to my knees, I slowly stood up, regaining my strength. Turning to face her, I slowly walked towards where she fell, smirking.
"You know, Freya, you need to realise something. No matter what, your family will die, and you won't be able to help" I raised my hand and made her body move upwards, forcing her to look at me.
"What happened to you Elisa? What did the Hollow do?" She barely managed to say, staining under my magic.
"She showed me the truth, she showed me the suffering you have caused me" I hissed, dropping my magic to give her space to breathe. Freya curled her body over and began heaving for air.
"I will never let you Mikaelson's hurt me again" I said, looking down at her. She lifted her head and her eyes met mine.
Before I could react, she began chanting towards me, taking me aback.
"What are you doing?" I shouted at her. Suddenly my head started burning and getting hotter. I began collapsing on the floor and grabbed my forehead, screaming slightly.
Memories flooded into my brain, new memories I had not seen before. Pictures of me and Kol together, his family saving me, our battle against Marcel and the ancestors.
Freya put her hand down, releasing me. I gasped for air before looking at her.
"What did you just do?" I asked. "I showed you the truth" She replied before slowly standing. "Now you know what the Hollow did to you".
I looked around and then up at her, still confused at what was happening. "Those images were lies. My hatred for your family runs too deep to allow me to believe what you have shown me".
Suddenly my body collapsed, causing me to scream out. I put my hand to my neck, trying to breathe, but found it was covered in blood. The Hollow was dying, and so was I.
As I prepared to fade into nothing, he pain disappeared as quickly as it formed. I put my hand to my neck to find the blood had gone. Looking round confused, I stood up again, looking at Freya. The link must've been broken. I was free.
I looked at Freya and glared at her before speeding out of the building, not looking back.
Hope's POV
Cold. Why was I so cold? I tried to move but felt nothing happen. I was in the Mikaelson mansion, but it was different, like it was some sort of alternate realm. I curled into a corner and tried to keep my breathing steady.
"Poor little Hope" a voice said to me. Looking up, I saw the Hollow towering over me. Fear flooded through me, making me try and move as far away as I could from her.
"What did you do to me?" I managed to say. She smirked before bending down to me so she was on my level. "I took over your body. I'm glad I did too, you have so much power surging through your veins".
I looked at her, unsure of her motives. "Why?"
The Hollow smiled before standing. "With your power, I will regain my strength and become superior. Even your pathetic family won't be able to stop me". She walked away, heading for the door.
"If I were you, I wouldn't fight it. Just let your soul slowly fade away, it will be less painful that way" she said, turning back to me slightly.
"You won't get away with this" I whispered, trying to fight her hold on me.
"Sweetie, I already have" She said before laughing and leaving me alone.
Hayley's POV
I stood over the Hollow's body, the knife I used covered in blood.
Her neck was bleeding out and her breathing had stopped, yet a part of me didn't feel at ease.
I thought after her death, I would feel safe and feel the weight lift off my shoulders, but instead I felt fear and uncertainty.
Freya stumbled in to the room, her eyes looking straight at the body. "You did it" She mumbled.
I looked at her and nodded. "I don't think it's over though" I told her, causing her to look at me confused. "I thought after killing her, I would feel victorious and happy that my family was safe. Instead I feel like the threat has just got worse".
She sighed and looked down again. Noticing she was alone I frowned. "Where's Elisa?" I asked.
Freya's eyes met mine as she left the room, me following behind.
"She's alive. Somehow the link between the Hollow was broken in time. I tried to return her memories, but she rejected them. When I was about to try again, she ran away. I don't know what she'll do, but she's free now and alone. Worst part is if she attacks us again, she will be doing out of the lies the Hollow created".
I processed the information as we left the building. "We need to find a way to get her back" I said. There was no way we were leaving Elisa as she was, not when we knew she wasn't herself.
"I'm going to look into some spells and potions, try and find a cure. The fun part though will be finding Elisa" Freya said in thought, trying to figure out what possible spells could work.
"Leave that to Kol, they're like magnets to each other anyway" I said, smirking slightly. A smile cracked onto Freya's face, causing me to grin.
Getting into my car, we drove off, heading back into the city.
