We got off from the airship and not even then minutes after waiting we got our horses. They were huge like Andalusian horses! I am short and I quite had some trouble getting on mine. Even if I had my hands up straight pointing to the sky; that didn't even reach the height of the horse. I felt even more final than I usual was. In the beginning felt really frustrated and I think the horse felt it, although when we got out of the small docks the horse and I calmed down.

My horse in the beginning it didn't want to move, then when it saw the others obeying their riders I also decided to obey, although it did not last long as some as we passed the fifth bakery it started to try to rise on its hind legs as soon as it's saw something moving in front of him. I had to put all my strength into my thighs to tighten around the side of the horse so I wouldn't fall off! Seriously I loved riding, I love horses but I never met a horse such as this guy who got scared of every little leafs which moved on the floor when the wind blew.

We rode and rode miles silently. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the view, there was snow stewarding miles and miles from the path we followed, at the outline of the horizon there were mountains which looked like more like cones which had been showered by grained sugar and the sun was making it sparkle. I would have maybe compared Kartissa to To Greenland or somewhere where there were barely a few living things. Oak trees popped up in the mid ground once or twice. I thought to myself that it may have been for the cold that there weren't that many trees around.

Kai turned around his black stallion and faced us.  "Everyone; you know what to do. We will separate here."

"Hmm."

"Yep." Some of us nodded while others replied with a simple 'yes'.

I watched as Beatrix and Alexander left together to the East. Zoe kicked her horse in the side and she started to gallop at lighting speed away, from my right and to West. Tom turned halfway around and smiled at me. "You will be just fine. Even if you are stuck with a man like Kai." He chuckled. He nudged his horse too in the side, while gave out clicking sounds and he was gone in an instant. He went after Zoe who was by now just a ping pong ball size getting smaller and smaller.

"Lets be on our way. Time isn't our friend." Kai turned back around his horse and started galloping forward.

"Why do I have to be stuck with this guy again tell me?" I wailed to myself then kicked lightly my horse in the side and we followed Mr. Smartheass. I don't know why I am getting once again annoyed by him, even though he hasn't been an ass yet since we left the Institute!

"We can check first at those small houses first, no?" I pointed to the houses to our right not so far away from us. From the chimney smoke curled up to the sky.

"Yes. That's will be our first top then. Thank you for spotting those houses, Lady Saphire..." he didn't look at me as he stirred around his horse in a  circle checking around our surroundings then following me. What was up with this guy? He was suppose to be the best soldier or knight whatever. And I had to pour out those houses for him? Was he even concentrating by on the mission?

Kai knocked lightly on the door. A woman in her fifties opened he door she peered up at Kai, with tears eyes. "What do you want stingy bastard?"

I had to turn around and muffle my giggle from both of them. Clearly the woman was upset. No one ever dared to say something so insulting at him....

Kai bowed to the woman. "I apologize for showing up so suddenly at the front of door Madam, but we are the Holy Knights and we came to investigate the disappearance of the children this town."
The woman seems to suddenly inhale deeply, composing herself before stepping aide, inventing us in.

Kai sat opposite me while the woman sat at the head of the table. "It took you a while to arrive young Knights. I'm disappointed in you," she looked wearily at both of us narrowing her eyes. "Anyhow, the faster we get over this the faster you guys can rescue my daughter."

"We will do everything in our power to save your child and the others who have been abducted." Kai assured her.

The woman seemed to bite back a retort. "My daughters name is Anastasia. She's eighty five years old. She has been missing since last night. Twelve pm. My younger son saw the person's face who took my daughter because she hid him inside of a barrel when he appeared. I'll tell him to come down." The woman stopped up when to the stair in the living room and shouted, "MICHALE KINLSON COME HERE RIGHT NOW!!" She sounded so angry. My mother never spoke to me in that kind of tone, or rather shouted at me like that.

Kai and I  both exchanged bewildered glances. "..."

Rapid thumbing god louder and louder upstairs and then at the top of the stairs Michale appeared. He had black hair and blue eyes unlike his mother who had blonde and brown eyes. "Coming Mama."

His mother grabbed his elbow and steered him to us. "Describe the monster who took your sister."

Michale looked at me the Kai, and back at me. He was very insured. I
I stood up and crouched down next to him. "It's okay. We are here to help. What did it look like? The thing what took your sister away?"

The boy's deep blue eyes looked into mine. He put on hand onto my forehead and my eyes shut on their own.
I panicked.

I was breathing heavily and I peered through a barrel hole the size of putting my index finger and my thumb together making a circle shape. I heard somebody outside say something to me like, he quite and not to move an inch. My body was paralyzed.

"You, thy King chooses you to be one of our princess for the 600th moon. You are needed to start the new world. Come child." Screaming started and I saw a girl's small figure struggle in the air, something pulling her to the woods. The thing which was taking the girl had a black hood on, its arms inked with a crescent moon, and its eyes were blood red, pupils white. The rest of his face was unclear as he was covered up by his cloak.
"Sis...don't go." I heard myself say.

My eyes opened and I saw Michale looking back into my eyes. He smiled at me. He showed me his vision.

"Thank you Michale." I ruffled his hair.

Kai stepped next to me and we both bowed. "Thank you so much for your patience and help. We will bring back your daughter, unharmed."

"I hope so. Do not fail me." The mother said bitterly.

The door closed behind us and I got onto Bert. I decided to call my horse Bert. Don't ask why. "I know how the man partly looks like. We can recognize him by a red crescent moon tattoo on his right forearm. His eyes blood red with white pupils. He wore black cloak too, to stay camouflaged in the dark night."

"That is still not good enough, to catch him, but we got something. What else did he show you?" Kai slowed his horse down to be in space with mine.

I looked away from his eyes and stared ahead of us, we were leaving back to the place we agreed to meet. And it was a small forest, on the other side of the mountain. "It also seemed to be able move other people's body. The girl seemed fine in pain too as he controlled her."

"That must be a dark magic controller."

"Dad magic?"

"Yes."

"Oh and he also said to the girl something along the lines of 'we need you. Our king needs you for the 600th moon...' I don't know what that means. Do you—" it was no bother asking Kai. His face already told me that he knew very well what that meant. The color in his face has been washed out. He looked terrified.

"We have to hurry Lady Saphire. If we don't meet up with the others and gather the rest of the information they got, it might be too late for all the children!" We urged our horses to gallop faster and faster to the mountains ahead. I prayed with all my will and inside, for us to have time and save the children.
