Regina was supposed to have the perfect the life, she was going to the best private schools, her familly was rich beyond imagination and every item she ever rewuested was handed to her. But then a person from the past comes back demanding an explain...

The ship has finally reached in Italy. I take a look at the town as I approach my taxi. It will take me to the hotel in which I'll stay for six days there. I have already bought the building that will make the headstart for my cause. During my stay I will also buy a house, it will take me at least a year or so to make this a success. I need to be carefull, no mistake is allowed in this job. It wasn't a school project, this was meant to be the start of a perfect future. I wanted to have some sort of power without my father being able to strip of it in case I didn't do as he pleased, that was the real main reason I began this. As for Kai? Well, I had no intention to see him now, if I did then I would have a reason to be distracted.
- I just have to concetrate to what I want. I murmured, what I wanted... was freedom. I wanted the nightmare my father involved me in to stop. I knew he had no intention of doing willingly so I had to do it on my own. Without knowing the taxi was in front of the hotels gates, I snaped out of my thoughts, paid the driver and gave the doorkeeper my suitcases. He took them and showed me the way towards the reception, there I received a pair of keys for room 406. The doorkeeper took me there and once I unlcoked the room he left the suitcases in the center of the room before excusing himself. I put all of my belongings to their place and after I had settled down I made a phone call to my mother.
- Hello?
- Hi mother. How are you?
- Regina! Thank God, I was about to call you. She said and I believed her, mother was mortified by the fact that I was going in a faraway country. She was always worried about me, when my father told me the truth she was furious and blamed him for being selfish.
- I' ve just arrived and I want your opinion in a crucial matter.
- What is it sweetie?
- Daniel confessed to me after my birthday party is over and Kai sent me a letter saying he wants to meet me.
- Oh no! Wait, why did Daniel confessed? You broke up with him when your father came up with this ridiculous idea with us involved with the world of darkness.
- Yeah about that... they somehow seem to know all about us and the dark secret we have been trying to keep for so long.
- WHAT?!
- So as you can guess I need advice. I am already engaged to Simon so there is no way for me to go back to Daniel or Kai but I fear they might decide to use this little secret of ours as a blacmailing tool. And right now when I am about to begin a future, having something like THIS exposed will not be beneficial.
- Let me discuss this with your father, you must only focus on the task at hand. Make your wish come true. No matter what these men say you will ignore and if the become more persistan call me okay?
- Okay. If you and dad find out a solution please call me.
- Of course darling. Relax and I will figure out something. I promise. You should sleep for a while. The trip must have been exhausting.
- Don't worry mom, I slept at the cabin. Anyway I think I'll take a stroll around town. Bye for now.
- Bye sweetie, have fun! She said and ended the call. I put my phone on my bag and after I locked my room I went ahead and took a few strolls around town, I even bought a few things, most of the were clothes and accesories. Once I returned back it was already night, I didn't know much about Italy so I returned back to the hotel and stayed the night.
Morning in Italy is a lot different than back home. Perhaps because I still wasn't used to the differences between here and back there. Once I dressed up I went to eat breakfast in the hotels restaurant, as I intended. There however one of the staff members came and gave me an envelop and a rose. Once I opened the envelop I was shocked, it was a love letter from Daniel in which he was saying that he came here in Italy for me. He was writing his current address and a small paragraph from the well known balcony scene of "Romeo and Juliet". I suddenly felt the urge to laugh loudly and make fun of the letters content, instead of that I put it in one of my jacket's pockets and after I finished eating I returned to my bedroom still holding the rose I received along with the letter. No sooner had I closed the door and placed the rose in a vase that I recalled Kai's little gift. I brought out the box Kai had sent to me during my stay in the ships cabin. I suddenly realized I didn't open the box back then. With my curiousity at its peak I opened it and was shocked to see that it was a small pendat in the shape of a heart made of one large saphire. I felt my heart melt at that moment. I remebered a certain moment of my childhood, I once told Kai that I wanted a heart pendat from someone who I knew that would love me for all my days and that he would never wish for me to suffer. I was about to cry when suddenly Simons image popped in my mind, he was the one I had to devote myself into now. I took Daniel's letter and while holding both the card and the letter I stared at them trying desperately to freeze my heart. This had to stop, I placed both of the items in my bag and his the pendant away in my bedside table. As if it was a message from God I heard someone knocking the door. I went ahead and opened the door, only to come face to face with Kai.
- Hi Regina. He said and I instantly tried to close the door in his face. As someone can guess I was not THAT lucky. He placed his foot in the space between them and begged me to wait a minute.
- No Kai! What do you want anyway.
- Why didn't you come to see me?
- How did you learn I was already here?
- I asked the receptionist. She told me you were in this room and so I came.
- Well unfortunately I have no interest in talking to you. I have a buisness to begin and you are not part of it. I told him and he smiled as if he was seeing something funny,
- What if I said I can help you with this "buisness".
- What? How?
- I'll tell you at dinner, tonight. At the hotel's restaurant. See you at 9:00. He said and without another word he left.
- This is getting SO annoying. I said and closed the door loudly. I had a date to attend to, whether I liked it or not.
