You were getting ready for the dance of your school with the help of your mother and sister. I looked more like a bride than a girl. I was wearing a long white dress with pink roses decorating it at the end. My hair falling down on my waist with a small hairpin on the side. The shoes were white as well and I wore only pearls as a necklace. I didn't want anything special, I had no intention of staying there for a long time. For the baby's sake, I had to be quick. As for Daniel and Kai, they were going to be with me and Bella all the time. We'd only be seperated when I'd decide to go back home, Daniel would take me and he'd return back to the party later.

- Are you ready?

- I think so. I replied to Bella who was smilling brigthly. At least one of us is happy, we made our way down where we found our dates waiting for us. They both looked amazing and at some point... I felt my heart skip a beat... though I wasn't sure who I found more handsome... Kai or Daniel? I left a heavy sigh and Daniel noticed, he and Kai came closer and took me and Bella out to the limousine waiting for us.

- So who's family own this little beauty? Bella asked and Daniel raised his hand.

- Mine. He said as an answer and I smiled, at least that was comforting. We got in and without any more delays we went to the schools ballroom. Due to the school's nature, meaning that it was from medium to high social classes, the building itself was unsually large. We had two gyms, one for each gender and a pool as big an amphitheater. Not to mention how ridiculously large the classrooms were. You could fill with two elementary classes consisted of twenty students each. Yep, my school was unusual and impressive.

When we entered the amphitheater everyone was looking at us. I was used into being the center of attention and so I knew how to act. I greeted an insane amount of people and gave as many compliments as I could, pregrancy is no funny matter. My gaze travelled around and finally I spotted Simon and Elena who were both present, so he brought her here. How amusing!!! Daniel spotted them too and patted Kai's shoulder the two of them came to my sides while Bella was behind me and was prepared for action. We all slowly made our way to them and I prepared  to give yet another great acting show.

- Good evening Simon, Elena.  I said with one of the most fake smiles I've mastered, if you didn't know me well, you'd certainly believe that it was genuine.

- Good evening, you backstabbing witch. Simon said and I laughed.

- Oh Simon! Don't be so mad, it's not my fault you screwed up so badly. You should have thought twice before cheating. I said and I kept on my smile, Simon knew my game and so he played along, with his own fake smile he looked at me and spoke.

- It's also not my fault that you don't understand a man's pshycology. You were too distant and cold for your own good, I knew that you never loved me... just I knew that you would never really show me any of your real faces or emotions. Elena was different, she at least is real to her emotions and purposes. She is honest and doesn't hide. He said and at some point, I think I felt envy, despite her being a mere worm, she was indeed honest and true to her desires... unlike me.

- And you should have realised since day one that something was wrong. Emotions cannot be built on lies. Everything you created for me was a facade and I made sure to show you that this was my game. Honesty is good... but not when you have to protect those you love and cherish, then honesty might become an enemy... one that's hard to fight, the same goes for truth. You wanted to see an imaginary Regina, a girl that couldn't exist... because I made sure that my perfect mask could crush your efforts, because I was awakening as something completely different.

- And what would that be?

- A true human being. I finally became who I should have been from the start. I still put up a show but not only to protect the Kingstar name and myself... but also to protect my sister and even you.

- Us? Elena asked and I nodded.

- What do you think will happen if everyone finds out the truth? Do you think they'll help? No, they are going to be twice as cruel as I was... because they will see you as something that's not worthy to talk or even stand next to. They'll forget that you might had been just like them once. I said and Simon began realising what was really happening, his smile dissapeared and he lowered his head. Elena looked at him in desbilief.

- How can you believe her after everything she's done? She asked and I chuckled.

- Because he's felt it before. He knows what it's like and he knows that I'm right about that one. I replied and she looked at him shocked. Without another word I left, the others following me.

- That was awesome!!!! Bella said and hugged me from behind.

- Okay but... I think I should leave...

- What? Why? She asked and I looked at my stomach.

- I don't think it's a good idea for me to be around so many people. I said and Daniel nodded.

- I'll take you home if you want. He said and I smiled.

- Thank you Daniel. I replied and the two of us left. As we walked around I stopped and he looked at me confused.

- What's wrong?

- I... I want to... apologize and... I want to see...

- See what?

- See if I really did destroy everything between us. If this... love we once held was truly destroyed. I said and he came closer, he looked straight into my eyes for a moment before his lips touched mine slowly, it was a gently, uncertain kiss. His mouth was a mix of jasmins and cherries. I purposely deepend the kiss and parted slowly as I looked up to him.

- I will always love you... Regina.
