Chapter Two: What's going to happen to us?

"Why..! The channels - everything is gone!"

JD growled, walking back and forth shaking his head left to right. Raking his hand through his silky, dark brown hair, his mind drawing closer to the brink of insanity.

"No TV..? I won't live without this! Nono NO!"

The male repeated pacing up and down the small room as the others stared closely and carefully, confused as a laugh escaped their lips from behind.

"Dont worry JD, its just TV nothing will happe-"

"NO! I wont take it! No video games in this world is horrible!" Interrupting Jhillian speak he was about to run out, scream at everyone it was out, the network of course. The connection, the bars, the internet. Anything connecting them and the outside had been cut off. Drawing closer to the door a thud boomed the small, filled room realising Ariel had tackled the male, slapping his face as the girl crossed her arms standing back up as a growl escaped her peached lips.

"Geez, stop acting like that. It isn't helping any of us and surely it isn't fixing up the situation we are in, I also almost, ALMOST broke my nail."

Ariel stated walking back as she entered once again into Jhustin and Jhillian's conversation as if nothing happened. No smile emerged from any of their faces. They were kids, they didn't know what to do. What was happening, or even where every adult had gone off too it was still a mystery.

"Teachers, several other kids, broadcast, cellphones all out at the same time?"

Jhillian frowned, trying to work out how all of that lead up to one thing. Ariel and Jhustin waited patiently, JD slowly lifting himself off the hardwood floor as if they awaited an answer, telling them what had caused this atleast. Waiting for an answer like 'Maybe this had happened because.. and this goes here..' But the only statement they were given back was;

"I dont understand any of this, it doesnt make sense either."

JD crept slowly towards the phone, unoticed he picked it up, the phone having no dial tone. Ariel making her way towards the computer in the lounge finding no way to access the internet or anything else that lead too online usage which wasn't a great help at all in the current situation they were in. As for Jhustin he continued flicking through the channels having nothing but static within the television.

"Sixteen." Jhillian mumbled quietly, a finger placed upon her chin as she squinted staring at empty space. She only gathered what she had seen, the several students disappearances, the internet and everything having to use contact with, cut as well as every adult simply to have vanished into thin air.

Standing up the female walked back and forth in thought, the rest stopping, all tilting their heads confused having said 'Sixteen' so strangely.

"The people in my class, Sixteen I think and they vanished. Both great at most of the subjects but had disorders like dyslexia.." She stated raising her finger as she spoke gathering it all up into a clump statement.

"Why Sixteen?"

An answer didnt befall her lips having only gathered slight information. The cause still wasn't clear neither did they know what was actually happening. Jhillian about to exit the door had burst open, hitting her backwards as a thud followed afterwards, the girl finding herself on the ground as Year 6's squealed in delight, entering the lounge.

"We own this school now!" One stated.

"Yeah! Everything we own it all!" The other repeated.

"We will kick open the vending machine!"

The children jumped up and down in joy shaking their heads and speeding back and forth as if they had taken tons of sugar already, they seemed hyperactive enough but having the vending machine opened? That wouldve been worse.

"Hey.. dont you think thats a bad idea?"

Jhustin grumbled, having thought of children ruling the school, overtaking everything. Having the food to theirselves and simply leaving. The boys that had entered pulled both their tounges out, as well as making a mocking noise of Jhustin's voice as laughs echoed throught the room.

"Dont tell us what to do Grandpa!" And with that the boys once again exited the room.

"Would it be bad if I asked them to bring me a chippy packet?"

Jhustin whispered pulling away from Ariel's ear as snickers befell the background. JD thought to make the first move, gesturing them to all gather around near the center to talk. They once again sat around the TV, discussing as they agreed and disagreed at eachothers point of views and what they thought had happened, or what is to happen next. Shaking their heads and nodding it had already been about one whole hour since the dissapearamce of the adults had begun.

"Aliens!" JD suggested.

"No, its God. He has done this." Ariel argued back."

"I have no idea..." Jhustin whispered resting his arm against his leg, his head upon his hand.

"I dont think it is any of those... Aliens? Maybe something.. a little bit more realistic? And why would god take away parents and some older kids if he wanted future generstions of us?"

The female explained, Jhillian pointing out the slight obvious as they all shook their heads in agreement. What else was to say? Everything else was well... kind of impossible. But after what they had just saw it wouldn't be a surprise if this was out of this world unordinary.
