CHAPTER 5

(Dara's POV)

My head hurts, I don't know what happened yesterday, ang naaalala ko lang nakipagkita ako sa soon-to-be-husband ko tapos si Jander iyon tapos may tumawag sa kanya tapos ay umiyak ako sa CR at nag-order ng alak at nagpakalasing.

Then I had a dream na hinalikan daw ako ni Jander it was so true but I think its not.

I heard a knock in my room "Dara are you awake already?"

"Yes Dad, come in" I said.

"Dara why are you drunk yesterday? again?" Dad asked seriously.

"I need it Dad" I said.

"I thought you'll be happy kasi naman si Jander ang magiging asawa mo" He said.

"Dad do you know? Do you know na break na kami ni Jander?" I asked.

"Yeah, I-I know" he replied.

"Huh?! How!? Alam mo rin po ba iyong rason kung bakit kami nagbreak?!" i asked surprised.

"I-I just know, yes I also know the reason, well...uhmm...but you have to do this" He said like he is pleading...or was he really pleading?

"Dad do I have to really do this for the sake of our business? It's what Jander told me" I asked him seriously.

"Y-Yes" He said pero hindi nakatingin sa akin.

I sighed " Okay I'm gonna do it, I know how much effort you've done just to be where you are now, Don't worry Dad" I said and smiled then I patted his shoulders.

" Thanks Dara, your mom would be very proud of you if she can hear what you are saying now" He said and smiled.

I hugged him...

" I miss mom" I said.

"Me too"

"Okay, okay, well Dara I have to go already" Dad said at humiwalay na.

"Alright, Ingat ka Dad" I said and kissed his forehead.

"Okay Thanks, you too" He said then he left.

I smiled, I can do this, its for my Dad.

(MR MERCADO's POV)

After I went out from Dara's room I went to the cemetary where my wife was burried.

"Sheena don't be angry with me for lying to our daughter but please you have to understand para rin naman ito sa amin, ako ang nakagawa ng mali I admit it and I regret na sinasaktan ko ng ganito si Dara pero it's for our own good, you understand it naman diba?" I asked sadly.

Then humangin ng malakas.

"Thanks Sheena for always there, I miss you so much" I said sadly.

"Well I have to go already sheena dahil makikipag-usap pa ako sa bestfriend ko, about our plan...bye dear I love you" I kissed the flowers then left it on her grave and I went out of the cemetary.

AFTER A MONTH PASSED....

"HAPPY GRADUATION DARALYN MERCADO! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!!" I said happily and hugged my daughter.

"Thanks Dad!!!" She said smiling and hugged me back.

"Uyyy Bestfriend!!! Happy Graduation! CONGRATS DIN!!!" sabi ni Sharlom ang bestfriend ni Dara.

"ohhh Sharlom Congrats pala!" I said and shaked her hands.

"Thanks po Tito" she said tapos nagkwentuhan na sila ni Dara...nakalimutan na ata akong andun.

I went looking for Jander, I want to Congratulate him too. But...

I saw him kissing a girl, Jander became the very known Cassanova for the past month in their School and I saw how hurt Dara was, kung paano siya nagpakatatag at kung paano siya umiiyak tuwing gabi...pero alam ko ang rason kung bakit ginagawa ito ni Jander that's why hinahayaan ko lang siya...I'm just so sorry with my daughter and at the same time I feel very very Guilty...
