"Mr. Evans, I hope you calling me means good news." A staticy voice came from the other side of the phone.

"Yes, Doctor Brenner, great news. I just spoke with Ms. Rebecca, patient 012." Evans began, speaking of his conversation with Rebecca, "She spoke about the dream again but she said that she saw the boy. The boy who went missing from your end." he repeated to the man on the other end.

"Has she been able to speak with him?" Brenner asked swiftly.

Evans sighed,"No, unfortunately not. I gave her the next dosage to amp the dreams more and hopefully next time I see her, she'll be in contact with the boy." He told him.

"That's good. It is a good time to try and enhance her abilities, but remember to keep it slow. We don't want her to realize what we're doing to her. You remember the last one I let you treat, don't you?" Brenner said, his voice growing more threatening as he asked Evans the question.

Evans gulped and nodded even though Brenner was unable to see him, "Yes, sir. I remember."

"Ok, good job, Mr. Evans. Don't forget to wire the money over to her mother by tomorrow."

THE SUN PEEKED in through the sheer curtains, slowly lulling Rebecca out of her sleep state as she groaned. She moved to try and pull the blanket to shield herself from the light but only resulted in her feet sticking out the bottom causing her to shiver and curl her legs up closer to herself. She took a deep breath, hoping that sleep would take over her again as she curled back up into the warm blankets.

After a few moments of silence a loud caw came from outside the window, jolting Rebecca out of her sleep state as she ripped the covers off of herself and jumped out of bed, not knowing what the noise was. As soon as she saw the bird perched outside the window she relaxed her shoulders.

"Stupid bird." She muttered, grabbing one of the pillows and tossing it at the wall, making a loud thump noise as the bird flew away.

Rebecca let out a loud sigh and rubbed her eyes, trying to get rid of the sleep that she so graciously only got a solid four hours of. She dropped her arms to her side and moved to her backpack and pulled out her new box of pills, the ones her doctor had prescribed to her just a few days ago, gulping one down without water. They were fairly larger in size but she didn't really pay attention to it.

She then walked out of the room, not bothering to make the bed as she headed towards the kitchen. She walked quietly and peeked out of the hallway to the living room, half expecting her father to be passed out on the couch or him not to be there. She surveyed the room and didn't see him so she walked to the window. His car wasn't there either.
