Rebecca sat the phone back onto the receiver and sighed, looking back down at the prescription bottle, held loosely in her hand. She wasn't going to lie with herself, her mother had been acting strange the past few weeks. Hell, even the past few months she'd been different, she looked and acted differently towards Rebecca, and she didn't know why.

Rebecca set down the bottle of pills down onto the table and stood up suddenly, almost knocking the chair she was sat in to the ground. She stalked her way to the bedroom and grabbed her leather jacket, putting it on over her flannel and shoved her feet into her red converse, tying them loosely. She was still clad in sweatpants but she didn't care.

She walked back out into the living room, throwing her bag over her shoulder and opened the front door, slamming it behind her with an unnecessary force. Rebecca brought out her key and locked it, turning away from it to look into the driveway, her rusty bike laying on its side.

She didn't hesitate as she ran over to it, and swung her leg over, pedaling her way out of the driveway. She was going to the Hawkin's Lab. She was going to find a way in and find the answers she desperately needed.

"THERE SHE IS. EMERALD CITY." Officer Powell's voice echoed through the previously silent police car as they approached the entrance gates to Hawkins Lab. After the search party the previous night and the evidence found outside the sewer pipe by Rebecca led Hopper to start to suspect that Will had made his way under the fence to the lab. Though he had his doubts, it was the only lead that the officer's had.

"I heard they make space weapons in there." Callahan responded eagerly, leaning forward in the backseat as Hopper rolled his eyes.

"Space weapons?" Powell asked, looking back at the other officer with an eyebrow raised. Nobody really knew exactly what went on inside the labs, though different people had their suspicions. Conspiracy theorists were always trying to debunk and out mysterious experiments.

Callahan nodded his head towards Powell as if he was stating a fact, "Yeah. You know, like, Reagan's Star Wars. I guess we're going to blow the Ruskie's to smithereens."

Hopper bit back his tongue to keep him from snapping at the two oblivious officers as he pulled up to the mini guardhouse outside the fence that would ultimately decided whether or not they would be let into the lab. Hopper placed the truck in park as a guard clad in a brown uniform and hat stepped out of the small building.

"Hey, can I help you?" The guard asked, kneeling down to get a better look at the three officers in the car.

"Uh, yeah," Hopper began, resting one of his arms outside the window of the truck, improvising the situation as best he could, "We're here for a tour." He finished, nodding his head towards the lab in front of them.
