Chapter 24

"The shadows are out." Amaya said.

Kolton smiled. Then out of nowhere they were kissing. When they pulled back, they were both blushing.

"Let's go get Ookami." Kolton said.

"We want to help." A voice said.

It was Yu-chan and Nicole.

"The more the deadlier." Amaya said.

Zero and Emmi were running through the woods when they saw Ookami laying on the ground, a sword sticking out of her chest. Bleeding terribly.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"God Zero! Shut up."

Emmi kneeled down and stared into Ookami's eyes. Her eyes glowed.

"Zero? I'm going to scare you. So please don't scream. There's a knife being thrown at you right now. Duck!"

Right as Zero ducked, a knife flew through the air and hit the tree.

"She's not dead. Purebloods can only die from other purebloods. Kolton! Come out!" After Emmi said that, Kolton came out.

"My Emmi! You're very smart!"

"But I'm not responsible."

"Who is?"

"I am."

"N-Nicole?" Stuttered Emmi.

"Yeah. I was jealous. She has Zero but if she's dead I can have him."

"You're sick Nicole. Me and you could never happen. And what about Kain. You just left him?"

"Just like you and Ichiru left me." Amaya said as she and Yu-chan stepped out from behind a tree.

Then Emmi's wings came out.

"Zero, pick up Ookami."

Zero did. Then Emmi touched Ookami's arm and she Ookami and Zero shimmered and disappeared.

"Where did they go?" said Yu-chan.

"A fallen angel can do almost as much as a pureblood." Kolton said.

"They could be anywhere."

Emmi, Zero, and Ookami landed at a small building.

"Where are we?"

Emmi walked up to a door. She sighed and opened the door. Zero followed carrying Ookami.

"I hope this works!" Emmi said flashing her eyes.

Emmi took Ookami from Zero and placed her on the ground. She held her hands out and a light came out.

Ookami sat up and removed the sword from her chest.

"What happened?"

Emmi looked nervous.

"I-I um I awoken you. You're now a full pure blood."

"A-a pureblood. That means I have to drink b-bl-blood!"

"Yes, but it also means you're very powerful." said Emmi.

"You're still my Ookami. Whether you're a pureblood or a human." Said Zero.

"That's right Kami!"

"Kaname..." said Ookami

"What!?!" said Emmi and Zero in unison.

"Kaname. Kaname Kuran."

"Who's Kaname?"

"He's a pureblood vampire who left a while ago with Yuki." Zero said.

"Oh! I read about him. He was very involved with your family Ookami. I think he's your cousin."

Emmi looked around the room.

"Hey Kami. Do you remember this place?"

"No. Why?"

Emmi went to turn on the light.

"Well it is your grandparent's house."

Ookami got a chill up her spine.

"Why are we here?" Asked Ookami.

"Actually...I don't know." Said Emmi.

Ookami got up and walked around the house. Then to her old toy room. Or what she thought was her old toy room.

She picked up a stuffed wolf. She hugged it.

"Mr. Woofles!" She whispered.

"What?" said Zero

"My stuffed animal. I took it everywhere. I named it Mr. Woofles."

"Um..."

"I was 2."

She went and sat on her toy box.

"I think I remember..." She said sniffling.

"Ookami are you okay?" said Emmi

"Fluff fluff!" Screamed Ookami.

She ran to what she thought was the bathroom and flung the door open.

"Meow." said Fluff Fluff.

"It's still alive?" asked Zero.

"It's a ghost cat. A witch's apprentice." Said Ookami while hugging her cat.

"No matter what, I'm bringing Fluff Fluff with us." said Ookami, sounding a bit childish.

"Well well well. Look who I found." said Kaname.
