Chapter 21

Ookami had her eyes closed. She was gritting her teeth like she was in pain.

"Ahhh!" Screamed Ookami.

More blood tears.

"O-Ookami?" Said Zero.

"Drink my blood. It will help, and I'm already a vampire."

Ookami shook her head.

"Kami, look at me."

Ookami opened her eyes. They were red.

Zero helped her sit up.

"Ookami, you'll die if you don't get blood soon."

"Ookami, take mine." Zero said.

Ookami shook her head but Zero forced her to. She was near his neck. She felt a piercing pain in her mouth. Fangs. She couldn't stand it. She bit into Zero and drank. Blood ran down her mouth. When she pulled away, she was crying.

"I'm a monster." Ookami whispered.

Ookami stood up and looked at everyone.

"I-I can't take this!"

She ran through the door. Zero ran after her. Emmi walked over to Takuma.

"Takuma! You have to tell me what Ookami told you! It's important!"

Takuma sighed and opened his mouth.

"She said, that she's a pureblood. She can heal with her tears. She's craving blood and she has these visions. A woman is telling her 'You will forget all'. She has these powers to heal people with tears. Yu-chan and Nicole are out to get her."

Emmi stood up and walked around the room, thinking.

"A woman saying 'You will forget all."

Then something came to her mind.

"Ookami's real mother!"

Ookami was sitting in her favorite tree eating an apple when Zero appeared in front if her.

"Zero!"

She reached out and touched the spot her fangs sunk into.

"Ookami, what's up with you and apples?" He said gesturing to the apple in her hand.

"The color, it looks like blood, doesn't it? They crave my blood thirst a little. I remember visiting an apple orchard. It was beautiful with all the apple blossoms."

Zero reached out and touched a locket that was around Ookamis neck.

"What's this?"

She opened it. A single black rose petal was in it.

"I had this when my parents found me. They say I forgot my other family. My other life. All I know is I had this. Its powerful."

Emmi walked through the dorms looking for Headmaster Cross.

"Headmaster Cross! I have a question."

"What is it Emmi? Anything for one of my best students."

Emmi mustered all the strength she had and asked,

"I need to know about Ookami's real parents."

Meanwhile, Zero and Ookami were talking about the locket.

Ookami laughed at all Zero's stupid jokes.

That's when a girl called out.

"Hi Zero."

He froze. Ookami looked down to the bottom of the tree to see a girl with red hair.

"Can I ask who you are?" Ookami asked.

"Of course! I'm Zero's sister, Amaya."
