Chapter 9

Emmi's eyes opened wide. She was startled. A huge blush crossed her face. He pulled away blushing too. He looked at her face.

"Uh...s-sorry."

"Don't apologize." She said, hugging him.

The dj put on a fast song. Very popular lately. Everyone was dancing, even Senri. Everyone but Ookami and Zero.

"Hey Zero, hey Ookami." Kolton said. "Hey."

All of a sudden, a bunch of girls ran up to Zero.

"Zero, dance with me!"

"No! Me!"

"No me!"

"Dance with me!!"

"Um...I was dancing with Ookami."

"You mean the girl that cuts herself." Zero looked shocked. "That's not true."

"Zero..."

Ookami showed him her leg. "Ookami!"

The girls laughed, calling her names. Ookami ran. She ran as fast as she could.

"Ookami!" Zero yelled. She didn't stop. Zero and Emmi ran after her. They stopped under her favorite tree and heard crying.

"Kami?" Emmi asked. Ookami's shoe fell off and hit Zero in the head. "Oww!"

"U-up h-h-here."

"Ookami! Get down!"

She jumped down and fell into Zero. "Sorry Zero."

She stood up.

There was blood dripping down her arm and leg.

"Ookami, why?"

"I don't know!"

"Ookami..."

"Zero, you're here? Why haven't you left?"

"Why would I leave?"

"Because of my legs!!"

"I don't care...I-I really like you, Ookami."

"Zero. I-I like you too."

Emmi watched as they got closer and closer. She smiled when she saw them kiss. Zero didn't look at Ookami after that.

"Uh umm Ookami. I'm sorry. That wasn't supposed to happen."

Ookami kinda laughed.

"I don't care."

She turned his head towards hers so they were looking at each other.

"I actually liked it."

She pulled Zero in for another kiss.

"Get a room." said Emmi with a smile. Senri was with her.

"I think it's sweet." Senri said. He kissed Emmi on the cheek. She kissed him on the lips. He blushed. Zero had his arm around Ookami. The four smiled at each other. They went back to the dance and they all hung out. It was Saturday and the girls were going home to see their parents. Senri and Zero were coming.

"You'll love our dad, he's so funny." Said Ookami.

"And our mom is a great cook."

They finally got to their house. They knocked on the door and were let inside. "Mom, dad!" yelled the sisters. "Girls, you're back. Who are they?"

"Mom, meet Senri."

"Dad, this is Zero."

"Girls? Why did you bring two boys home? You both are so stupid! What were you thinking!!"

Emmi ran outside and flew to the roof. Senri ran outside after her. "Emmi! How'd you get up there?"

"I'm good at climbing." Senri jumped and landed perfectly on the roof. "Why are you upset?"

"My parents hate me! I'm the one who wanted to come here. I dragged you and Zero along. Sorry."

Senri laughed.

"You think that I would come here for just someone? I came because I wanted to impress your parents." Inside the house, Ookami and Zero were talking with her parents.

"Zero, was it? Why did you come here with my foolish daughter?"

"Your daughter is not foolish." Zero said.

"Do you really think that, that I'm foolish?" Said Ookami. She ran and climbed up a tree where she hit the back of her head over and over again. Zero came to find her.

Emmi was still crying. "

Why did we come back. Our parents never loved us. NEVER! Forget them, let's just go back."

"If that's what you want." said Senri.

Zero found Ookami in the tree with blood trailing down the trunk. "Ookami!" He shouted. He climbed the tree and seen my head.

"What did you do?" He got Ookami down the tree and found Emmi and Senri. They all left but Ookami because she was unconscious.
