"Well, Nino, Marinette. What should we do on this fine day?" asked Alya.
"Hm... how about the park?" suggested Nino, chuckling at her choice of words. He felt it made her sound posh.
"Yes! Let's go!" cried Marinette.
They all went to the park and saw Lila and Adrien. Nino waved to Adrien but Adrien growled at him.
"Adrien's in a mood," murmured Nino.
"Kiss Marinette. See what his reaction is!" dared Alya.
Nino kissed Marinette, taking her by surprise. She tried to pull away but Adrien got to him first. Adrien pushes Nino to the ground.
"Yo dude. Geez, what was that for?" asked Nino, standing back up and dusting himself off.
"Back off!" growled Adrien.
"Why, she's my girlfriend? Would you like it if I told you to back away from Lila?" asked Nino with a grin.
"No! But back off! Leave Marinette alone! Can't you see? She's scared!" cried Adrien, pushing Nino again.
"I'm only scared because your scaring me Adrien. I've never seen you like this before!" protested Marinette.
Adrien took a deep breath, calmed down and apologised.
"I'm breaking up with Lila," sighed Adrien, realising he couldn't keep hurting Marinette forever.
"Ok dude. Marinette and I were never dating!" said Nino with a smirk.
Adrien hung his mouth in mid-air.
"WAIT WHAT?!" yelled Adrien.
"Yeah, we were never dating," admitted Marinette, turning her head away from Nino.
"Why did you do that?" asked Adrien sadly. He thought it was a test.
"To see what would happen," lied Alya.
"To test what?" asked Adrien, knowing it was a test and Alya was lying.
"Tell us what you wanted our little test to be about," said Alya with an innocent smile.
"Well for starters, I don't like tests. Secondly, don't do a test like that again when you know I love Marinette and thirdly..."
He was interrupted by a slap in the face from Lila.
"You're a PLAYER!" shouted Lila.
"No I'm not. I'm breaking up with you," declared Adrien.
"I HATE YOU!!" screamed Lila and she ran off.
"You love Marinette?" gasped Alya.
"Great! Thanks Nino! A friend you are making me admit a secret like that!" whined Adrien.
"Is it true though?" asked Nino, knowing it was.
"Yes..." he blushed bright red.
Marinette blushed and then Adrien pulled her in to a kiss. She pushed away from him and hid behind Alya. She wasn't ready for that. It was bad enough when Nino did it.
Alya clapped and Nino pulled her into a kiss suddenly too.
"Adrien, can I tell you something? Well all of us?" asked Marinette, coming from behind Nino and Alya.
"Sure," said Adrien with a smile. She whispered into his ear and he looked at his friends in awe.
He gasped in excitement. His best friends were his best friends as super heroes.
"I'm Chat Noir!" whispered Adrien.
"Kitty?" asked Marinette to make sure.
"It's me bugaboo!" cried Adrien.
He hugged Marinette and Nino and Alya watched while hugging each other.
"Hi maman, we did it," announced Marinette as she walked in with Adrien, Nino and Alya.
"Well done!" cried Sabine.
They all went upstairs and played a game of truth or dare.
"Hey Mrs Dupain-Cheng?" asked Alya.
"Yes dear," smiled Sabine.
"Can we sleep over?" asked Nino.
"Sure!" cried Sabine.
"Thanks!" cried Adrien.
They stayed up posting things, letting their kwamis tell them horror stories about their past, playing games and snuggling up to a film.
"We're made for each other," whispered Adrien.
