"Hi Marinette!" cried Adrien one morning.
"Hey Chaton," said Marinette with a wink.
Adrien chuckled at his new nickname.
"Nino and Alya want to meet at your place, so shall we?" asked Adrien.
"Alright," smiled Marinette with a confused frown. She just came from her 'place' to meet them and they were already waiting for her.
They walked into Marinette's house and sat down.
"So, Queen Bee is up to something. She keeps spreading lies to the news. No one believes her but she may use these to her advantage. Does anyone know her identity?" explained Alya.
Adrien put his hand up shamefully.
"It's Chloe," he sighed. They all groaned.
"Why would she spread the lies?" asked Marinette.
Nino got his phone out and played what was recorded.
"I am Queen Bee! And I am your ONLY superhero!" declared Queen Bee.
"Your kidding right?" laughed Adrien.
"Nope. Watch more!" insisted Nino.
"Me and Chat Noir are dating! Carapace and Rena Rouge are dating! But don't trust Ladybug and Chat Noir! Why? He's cheating on me with her. And Rena Rouge and Carapace approved of it!" lied Queen Bee.
Adrien's phone began ringing. He stepped into Marinette's bathroom and answered.
"Hey Chloe," said Adrien.
"Hi Adrikins! What do you want? I'm in the middle of a date with Elliot!" sighed Chloe through the phone.
"First of all, you called me. Why did you tell a bunch of lies about me and Ladybug , Rena Rouge an Carapace?" asked Adrien.
"Because I want you back!" she declared.
"I'm dating Marinette..."
"I DON'T CARE! Elliot rejected me and I want you back! If you don't, I'll make a bunch of lies with you and Marinette," threatened Chloe. "And you know who your father is most likely to believe out of her and me."
"Fine," he sighed sadly, trying to protect Marinette.
"Thanks Adrikins! Oh, and you have to act like you love me when you're around me and others," explained Chloe and then hung up.
Adrien went back into Marinette's bedroom.
"Marinette..." he began
"Are you ok?" asked Marinette, interrupting him.
"Yes!" he snapped. He decided that he would break up with her angrily, to try and make her want to end things with him, instead of leaving them both broken.
"Are you sure?" asked Alya uneasily.
"I think you're not right for me! I'm breaking up with you!" shouted Adrien, fighting the urge to wrap her in his arms.
"What... what do you mean?" asked Marinette sadly.
"YOU'RE A FREAK! Bye guys!" growled Adrien.
He left her house the saddest person alive. Actually, he knew Marinette was.
"What? He didn't think I was a freak when we first met!" cried Marinette. She was in tears. Her heart had been taken by Adrien and kept in his hands, and he had just squeezed it until there was no heartbeat left. She felt like she couldn't breathe.
"Girl, it's ok," said Alya, wrapping her arms around Marinette and pulling her into an embrace.
"I know Adrien. He's not mean," sighed Nino, joining in the hug.
"He's obviously changed," snapped Marinette, pushing away from the hug.
Alya and Nino looked at each other.
"I'm sorry. I love him!" cried Marinette, putting her hands to her face so they couldn't see her crying.
They both hugged Marinette sadly.
Sabine and Tom came up to see Marinette in tears.
"What's wrong with my princess?" asked Tom.
"Adrien broke up with me.." cried Marinette and went into her mother and father's arms.
"Poor Marinette," whispered Alya. Marinette went downstairs to get something to eat.
"I had a bad feeling about him," whispered Sabine.
"He's never been like this before," sighed Nino.
"What do you mean?" whispered Tom.
"He's always nice. It's like something happened to him," whispered Alya.
"I guess he... changed," suggested Sabine.
Marinette came back upstairs and ate a cookie.
Tom and Sabine went downstairs and cuddled up on the sofa.
Meanwhile, Chloe was talking to Adrien.
"Well done, Adrikins!" said Chloe with a triumphant smirk.
"Why did you make me do that? Marinette was in tears," asked Adrien.
"Because Maribrat is my worst enemy. I want her to feel pain. And also, you're my go-to if things don't work. Now, before you can go, I have a few things you need to do too!" smiled Chloe.
"Like what?" he asked through gritted teeth.
"Oh, quite a lot!" she laughed and explained some things.
"No! I love Marinette! She is the best thing that happened to me! I can't do any of this to her!" cried Adrien.
"Oh I'll just post some more comments to this!" threatened Chloe getting her phone out.
"Enough Chloe! I'll do it!" sighed Adrien.
"Good boy," said Chloe with a grin.
