Chapter 2

"Jess?" ..... He murmured and soon froze for a moment when he saw her. He couldn't believe his eyes.

He felt like he wants to slap himself to wake up from this dream.

He slowly get closer to them, he's frowning but this woman is showing him the best smile she has in the world.

"You looked surprised! Daddy got surprised!" She said in a kid tone talking to their daughter. "Why do you look surprised?" She turned to him.

"What are you doing here?" He asked in his cold voice instead of giving her a hug to show how much he missed her.

"What kind of question is that, Dan? Of course this is my home, my family is here. I'm here for you and for Ellaine." She simply said and her smile never fade. she was about to kiss him but he moved away. "What's wrong?" Her face suddenly turned serious.

"Home?" He coldly asked and laugh

"Home? How dare you call this your home? This isn't your home, right?" He added

"What's wrong?" She asked frowning.

"You told me, you're going to america to sign a contract, but I did not tell you to cut off our connections!" He said and her smile has faded. "And now you want to call this our home? Your home? You're here for me and for Ellaine? Are you insane, isn't it?" He said throwing those words without thinking that he's hurting her now.

"Dan... What's wrong with you? What are you saying right now?" She asked trying to calm down.

"Are you picking a fight? Okay, I told you I'll sign my new contract, And I told you I might be gone for 3 months. But what's wrong now? What's going on? I got home after 3 months as I promise, what are you saying right now?" She said still trying to calm herself but he just shook his head while smirking.

"Asking me what's wrong with me? Ask yourself!" He said pointing his finger on her.

"Do you think It's easy for me to wake up each day waiting for my wife's call or reply to my messages? Didn't you think how worried I was? All I want is to talk to you, face time with you, I just want to see you even just a minute to avoid myself to think that we're too far from each other. So don't blame me if I'm acting like this. It is wring to be worried? I was worried about you, I want to know if you're alright." He said and she bit her bottom lip to control herself. She's trying to calm down as much as she can because at this moment she can see that his eyes has started flaming.

"Now tell me why you didn't reply to my messages?!" He asked raising his voice.

"I was busy, I couldn't find time." She calmly answered him. He sarcastically laughed.

"Busy? BUSY FOR TWO MONTHS?! TWO FUCKING STRAIGHT MONTHS, JESS?! How nice!!!" He yelled and he's out of control now.

"Don't yell in front of Ellaine." She said and put her daughter on her playmat. She walk back to him to calm him down. She even held him on his waist.

"Cool down, Dan." She said though her hands are shaking a bit. She then held his arms but he moved away, she close her eyes and take a deep breath.

"Stop acting like nothing happened. Explain yourself. Or maybe admit it now in front of me that you have someone, didn't you?!" He said and she stop moving right away on her spot staring at him.

For her this might be normal, of course couples can fight too, she'll control herself as much as she can. She doesn't want them to go too far, but she think this isn't right.

Still she stay calms and take another deep breath and rubs his arms.

"WHAT?! JUST TELL ME, YOU ARE WITH SOMEONE, RIGHT? IN SHORT YOU ARE CHEATING ON ME, AREN'T YOU?! YOU DIDN'T ANSWER ANY OF MY CALLS BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT ANYONE TO DISTURB YOUR TIME WITH YOUR OTHER MAN! AM I RIGHT?! AND NOW YOU'RE HERE IN FRONT OF ME AS IF YOU DID NOTHING!" He yell in front of her face and this time she can feel that he is insulting her and it's not good.
