Chapter 10

7 months later...

Today, Danny will perform at T in the park and as far as he knew her wife would be there too. He hadn't seen her for 7 months and as far as he knew she's still with the guy she's dating.

Their marriage still unknown in public, means nobody knows that he's married nor Jessie.

Their daughter is walking now, and today he have her, his wife might remember that she has a daughter waiting for her.

"Don't tell me that you still have hope for the both of you to be back with each other." That's Glen getting ready for their show.

"Nah. I just want her to see how her daughter has grown now." He said and held her daughter's hand as they are walking outside.

The lads followed them.

"I heard she's with him." That's mark and he turned to him.

"You see them?" He asked.

"Nope, but I heard." Mark said.

"We'll go to see Ben and Rod." Glen said and he nod. The lads went to the other way.

As he reached backstage there he saw his wife kissing the guy he used to see in her post.  He looked away while her daughter is wandering around trying to be familiar.

When he look back at Jessie there he saw her looking at their direction. She look down at their daughter.

He was expecting her to be teary eyed but she just looked away from them and grabbed the man's hand to walk farther away from them. She's smiling to that guy! Damn hell!!

He felt like the world collapse on him. He feel like he wanna cry for that act of hers but he tried to be strong for his daughter.

He grabbed Ellaine and carry her in his arms and walk back to their dressing room to give his daughter to his sister.

"Go ahead. Wait at me at the hotel." He told his sister Andi as he reached the dressing room.

"I thought you'll met her mother?" He shook his head and look at his daughter who's in his sister's arms.

"No need to. I changed my mind." He said.. He won't dare tell her nor anyone the incident with his wife in a while.

What happened for seven months?? Seven months was the darkest of his life. His wife left, she chose to be with someone else than to be with him, her husband and their daughter.

He'd never seen her personally with someone. This is the first time. And he can't believe what he just saw.

In front of his own eyes, in front of their daughter, his wife was kissing someone.

After the show and watching everyone perform, he called his sister that he won't be able to come to their hotel yet.

He called Jackie who is also in the same place he is in with his sister in the crowd.

He needs someone's comfort, and Jackie would be the best person to be with.

Jackie is still a good friend of him and she knows the situation of him with his wife.

She admitted that she has fallen for him but he can't give her some hope because he was still hoping for his wife to return.

"You know what?! You don't have to do this!" Jackie said trying to steal the bottle of Guinness from his hand.

"Nope! She will never come back Jackie." He said obviously out of his mind.

"You better sleep. You don't know what you are saying now." She said but he didn't stop. He take another sip of Guinness. He stare at her in the eyes.

"I realized that you're prettier whenever you're closer." He said and she blushed. He smile. "I see you blushed." He said and laughed. She hit him on his arms playfully. He pulled her and they both stop as their faces are few inches away.

"Don't move." He said almost in a whisper and his eyes went down on her lips.

A few seconds later he found himself kissing her and she's kissing him back.

The next morning he woke up he felt a little headache. He was about to get up but he felt like he bump someone. He turned and see Jackie lying there next to him staring at the ceiling.

Oh shit!  His head said. They both stare at the ceiling.

"I didn't gone far, did I?" He stated as he clear his throat.

"You did." She said not moving and he close his eyes. "But don't worry. We use protection if that's you are worrying about." She said and he look at her. For that moment he saw tears in her eyes.

He found himself wiping her tears away and kissing her cheeks. As he look down on her lips he gulped but then can't control himself. He smacked her lips with his.

"I don't want you to think that you're just a rebound." He said and for the first time in a while, she look at him.

"That's what you are doing, Danny." She said and he sighed. "You still love her and I know that you know your heart is still in love and beating for her." She said.

"But it will be gone right? You'll help me." He said.

"What about me?" She asked and he lay back down.

"I may not love you for now, but you'll give me time to learn that right?" He said though he isn't sure about that. For a moment she didn't say anything. They are both staring at the ceiling once again.

"Maybe, I'll be patient with you." She said finally after almost a minute of silence.

"Wait until my heart got heal. I promise to love you." He said and found himself kissing her.

Jessie cried in her hotel room after seeing her husband and her daughter over there. How she wish that she could go near them and hug them in her arms.

She haven't seen them for a long time because Jack is always with her, even tracking her whenever they're far from each other.

She had enough with Jack, she dumped him though he give a hard punched on her belly before leaving her.

But that's okay. Scars will heal as long as she gets her freedom now.

She dumped him multiple times but he never let her go, and she didn't know why he let her go now, but that's not important at all. The important matter now is that she can freely go back to her husband and their child.

She had been in a hard times just to find a way to escaped from Jack and now she is thankful that he let her go.

She get up from her bed, picking her clothes on the floor.
