Alfie swam towards me before going underwater. I had seconds to take a breath before I was plunged down as well. Water flew to my face once more as we breathed for air, I fixed my gaze at Alfie splashing him back.He immediately went under the water again, as I floated waiting for him to appear.

"Alfie" I chuckled quietly as I watched his head approached the top. " three,two,one" right on time Alfie breathed for air, a wave of water hit his face.

"little one" he squealed rubbing his eyes, the adjusted his arms around my waist for me to float whist he went on deeper amd deeper. "I won't let go" he promise reassuring me with a smile.

"I'm cold" my teeth shattered as we floated around holding on to each other, Alfie nodded taking hold of my hand swimming back slowly then exist the water.

"hold on" Alfie said running to the back of the car, opening the boot retrieving two blankets and a jacket. "Wear this" he smiled handing me the jacket on one of the two blankets wrapping around my frozen body.

"Thanks" I smiled back as I wrapped myself tighter. "For everything, being there to listen to my problems, this date, making me smile".

"It's my pleasure" Alfie said politely but cheekily. "If you want you can come back to my dorm room, Jacks out with Becky. So it would just be me,you and Joe, we could watch a movie?" He asked.

"Umm yeah" I said nervous, Joe and I haven't officially made up yet. The drive back was long however Alfie knew how to keep me laughing..

"You seem tense" he admitted taking hold of my hand as we entered the empty corridors. It was Friday night, which meant half of the students would be out.

"I haven't made up with Joe yet after our private talk" I admitted breathing heavily.

"Joe is your brother he will love you forever" Alfie said squeezing the grip of our hands.

"Maybe I should tell him about us, before someone guesses something" I shrugged my shoulders as Alfie's eyes widen.

"sounds like a good idea" he said shakily before taking his hand away from me finding the key. "Joe" he called out as he stepped into the room behind him.

"Hi mate" Joe waved. "Well thanks dad" Joe said sharply as he threw his phone onto the bed looking up at Alfie and I.

"Dad" I rolled my eyes as Joe nodded.

"He doesn't want us" he sighed sadly.

"He wants Megan's children" I added. Taking a double take Joe nodded looking back at Alfie and I. "Joe I need to tell you something" I said slowly looking at Alfie as he gestured for me to sit down.

"Is it that you and Alfie are dating?" He guessed making me gasp.

"Yeah, but how did you already know?" I asked surprised.

"Heard you two talking outside" he laughed. "I'm happy for you both, much bigger improvement than Jack".

"I thought you liked Jack?" Alfie asked siting beside me as I laid against the pillows.

"He's a dick, you know girl at the party that I fancies. Well he only kisses she then went back to her room" Joe sighed angrily. "Anyway Ill leave you two for some alone time" Joe winked gathering his phone.

"Joe, don't go. We were just going to watch movie and we thought could join us" Alfie said quickly making a small smile appear on joes face.

"Only if we don't watch Frozen" he stuck his tongue out at me. "Horror film".

"No" I squealed covering my face.

"Horror movie it is" Alfie chuckled shifting his body over to the cabinet full of movies.

"why are you smiling at me?" I groaned flattering my eyelashes open at Alfie who towered over me. I predicted I must have fallen asleep through the film, my legs were tangled with Alfie's making it harder for me to re-position.

"just admiring the sight" he smirked cheekily as I patted out my frizzy, bedhead hair.

"What time is it?" I asked ignoring his remark, Alfie bit his lip

As I swiped open his phone relieving the time 3:33am, I nodded politely gathering up my phone and purse when Alfie's arm came in contact with me. "Don't go, stay" he whispered quietly remembering Joe was still asleep. A playful smile ceases, his eyes locking with mine as I rolled my eyes sighing relaxing my body back down into the feathered pillows. "You have sang to me yet" he whispered wrapping his free hand my waist as I smiled.

"I can't really sing now can I" i chuckled quietly.

"you can" Alfie said shifting his weight out of bed grabbing his nearest jumper and handing it over to me. "There's an empty unused music room and the far end of the school" he said as we crept out of the dorm room leaving the door in the latch. We crawled across the floorboards of the corridors which in a few hours would be filled with half woken teenagers. Pushing hard agaisnt the wodden door we found ourselfs a cramp room with music instruments.

"I don't think is a good idea, I'm not that good" I admitted fidgeting with my fingers as I watched Alfie settled himself down on a stood holding a guitar firmly in his hands.

"Just relax, what song?" He asked sweetly clutching my hand.

"Human" I nodded as I shut my eyes tightly.

It was silent, I breathed slowly as I reopened my eyes. Alfie blinking at me, then a smile appearing on his face. "That was beautiful Zoe, just as beautiful as you" he whispered gently pressing his lips onto mine.
