Chapter 1 : "Dude, do you ever stop?"

"Yeah mom don't worry, I should go now because I'm pretty sure my Uber arrived and is waiting outside." I say into the phone, pissed at my lack of energy to carry a few grocery bags.
"Okay, see you later then, bye." I added as I ended the call, and left the store with my grocery bags.
Normally, my parents would go to the grocery store, but they were both busy today so they asked me to go instead. I agreed because it's not like I had a choice, and I have nothing interesting to do at home.
Since both of my parents were busy, I got here with an Uber, and I'll go home the same way.
And yes, I don't really have a car yet, so Ubers will have to do for now.
I walked outside, found my Uber and got in the backseat.
"Hello." I greeted, before proceeding to tell my driver about the house address.
However, I couldn't really do that because as the driver turned around to face me, I realized that Oh! It's Aaron Owens.
OH MY GOD
I accidentally got into Aaron Owens's car.
I hate my life.
He looked at me, shocked at first, before saying with a classy smirk, "Well, hello to you too, you could've atleast told me you wanna go home with me."
He thinks he's being funny, but that's just pure stupidity. I wish I said 'not cool bro', but I didn't.
"Uhh no, thank you," I stuttered nervously as I searched for words that would make sense "You see, I was supposed to be heading home with an Uber but I got into your car accidentally, I'm so sorry, it was nice to meet you, bye." I ended up saying, all too fast, nervously may I add, and then I opened the car door and got out.
Why did I not check on my phone if my Uber was here. Why did I have to rely on my assumptions? Cars could be similar but it doesn't mean anything. What was I thinking?
I mean that is Aaron. The hottest guy I've ever seen. Everyone else thinks so too.
I've heard so many rumors about him teaching yoga classes for a living and about him working as a chef somewhere in India in the summer. Ofcourse, I've heard he's gay too. Eh, all the cute ones are. I also heard he's a player.
You know, the cliche players. Messes with girls, claims he loves them, and then dumps them after he gets what he wants.
I don't believe the rumors, and I've never personally seen any girl hurt by him, but judging by what he said to me about going home with him, he sounds like a disgusting person that I don't want to talk to which is why I left the car so fast.
"I'm so stupid, dammit Ellie!" I mumbled quietly to myself.
I walked to a bench lying near the grocery store as I was waiting for my stupid Uber driver to make it, and tried to take in how embarrassing that was.
I tried stealing a glance at Aaron's car because I could see him from the corner of my eyes, still in his car doing absolutely nothing, and I caught him staring at me with a look of amusement on his face but at the same time, it looks like he is thinking about something, not that I care.
