"Well, he's kind of late." Steve said, referring to Aaron as he checks the time on his watch.
"He didn't skip school today, did he?" Laurel asked.
"No, we had class together this morning and he was there." Ethan replied.
"He should be here any minute then." Steve said, shrugging.
Lunch has started ten minutes ago and we all normally gather at lunch, Aaron however, still hasn't showed up.
"Oh, there he is." Rose said, pointing at Aaron who just walked in.
He's grinning like a little kid on a Christmas morning and it's the cutest thing ever.
I mean it's not cute.
Yes it is.
Shutup!
"The look on your face has me thinking you just had some good time in the janitor's closet with a female." Steve said, smirking as Aaron approached the table.
There was a place next to Ethan who's sitting across from me, which is closer to Aaron than the other empty seat next to me.
Aaron still turned around the table all the way and took the seat next to me.
Okay..
"No I wish, but I did really well on the chemistry test." Aaron said, smiling proudly.
"Really?" I said, my face lightning up since I had tutored him for hours.
"Yeah!" Aaron exclaimed, still smiling.
"That's amazing, thanks to your incredible tutor." I said, flipping my hair, causing some of the guys to laugh.
"Oh no, it's thanks to the smart boy sitting in front of me who can't seem to cover his paper properly." Aaron said.
I gasped, "After the three hours of let's-torture-Ellie yesterday, you ended up cheating?"
"Yes." Aaron replied in a small voice, sounding scared.
He better be scared, this dumb asshole.
"Aaron, say goodbye." I said calmly.
"Huh?" Aaron said, furrowing his eyebrows together in confusion.
"You have like, approximately," I pretended to count on my fingers, "less than ten seconds in this world."
"Oh..." Aaron said, moving away slightly.
"Nine." I said wickedly.
"Wait-" Aaron said covering his face with his hands to protect himself, I guess.
"Eight."
"Seriously-" Aaron said, giving me a disbelieved look.
"Seven." I completed, smiling.
"Ellie!!" Aaron stood up at this point.
