Chapter 20 : Brad loled and I rofled.
****************************************
Brad was following me silently as we walked to class.
"Right there." I pointed to the class as I walked in to my usual seat in the middle, back row.
Some people were glancing at Brad, I don't know why people like to look at the new kids in this school but I don't think Brad was even aware as he walked and took the empty seat next to me which I used to use for my backpack but I guess not, anymore.
"So.." Brad said.
"Sooo?" I said back.
"Where are you from, you don't look American?" Brad laughed slightly.
What the hell does that mean? So he's ignorant too, great!
I laughed along, "I am half white, I'm mixed, uh, Turkish and Italian but I don't speak Italian at all.."
"Really? How come?" Brad asked.
"I grew up here, since I was four, I speak some Turkish though." I replied.
My parents found each other when my mom, who is Italian, was visiting Turkey and she found my Turkish dad.
They fell in love and had a distance relationship up until they got married. And then they moved here four years after having me.
"Cool. Can you say something Turkish?"
I rolled my eyes. Why does everyone want me to speak Turkish when they know about my background?
I don't think Laurel or the guys are even aware of where I'm from.
Which is weird. We're friends. I'll tell them some time today.
"Sure." I smiled at Brad sarcastically but I don't think he noticed the sarcasm.
"Beni yalniz birak." I said.
"What does that mean?" Brad asked.
It means "Leave me alone." But he doesn't have to know that.
I smiled innocently at Brad, "It means, Welcome to our school."
That's so lame. Seriously Ellie?
"Oh, thank you!!" Brad grinned.
"Yeah, you're welcome." I replied.
"So, your mom's Italian?" Brad said.
"Yeah!! How did you know that?"
"I know your parents." Brad stated.
"Wait, what?" I replied.
"I'm kidding." Brad laughed out loud.
Oh my god, he's so funny, I'm rolling on the floor, laughing.
Brad loled and I rofled.
I swear I'm funny.
"You?" I added.
"Huh?"
I laughed, "I mean, where are you from?"
"Oh, I'm from here, see, blonde hair, blue eyes." Brad raised his brows.
Oh my god, you're so funny. My sarcasm land is calling me in my head. Ignorant prick.
"I use to live in the UK, I just moved here, almost didn't get into school." Brad explained further.
