Bellamy woke up earlier than Clarke. He breathed deeply, saying his thanks to the sky once more.
Gently, he slid out of the bed, pulling the covers back up on her shoulder. He walked to the kitchen, seeing Abby.
"Good morning," he greeted her, making himself a cup of coffee.
"Good morning," she returned. "How's she doing?"
"She remembered that I gave her a game for her birthday," he told her, grabbing a muffin. "She played it yesterday and she knew what to do before the game told her. She was surprised, it was like second nature to her."
Abby chuckled. "I'm not surprised. She balances being active with stating at a tv for hours perfectly."
"That she does," Bellamy agreed. "We're going to go out and spend some time with Raven and John today. Raven is dying for some alone time with her, too. Maybe they could go to dinner," Bellamy said.
"Yeah, that sounds good," Abby agreed. "There is one thing we need to discuss."
Bellamy sat his half eaten muffin down. "Did the doctors tell you anything?"
"No, no. She's still good. But, when the two of you got accepted into college, we got you guys that apartment in town."
Bellamy nodded. "I forgot all about that."
"I got a call from the landlord who just wanted to let me know that it would not be ready until September instead of next week. They have to update something, I don't know," Abby sighed. "But, I know that your scholarship is still active. You can use it for online, and Clarke can, too. Plus, I know you both have some money for college saved. The place is yours, still."
Bellamy scratched the back of his neck. "On one hand, I would like us to move like we had planned. But on the other, I don't want her to sit in a new place being upset that she's still not remembering everything. I mean, this is her home. She has you, she has Jake, and the last year was here." Bellamy sighed. "I don't even know if she would want to go. When she gets up, we can talk about it."
"Did we really get our own place?" Bellamy and Abby both turned to see Clarke walking towards them.
"We got an apartment for college," Bellamy told her. "We signed on for four years, but we could break the lease or we could just wait to move. I don't want to take you from your home."
Clarke took Bellamy's coffee from him. "I understand the hesitation," Clarke said.
"The apartment won't actually be ready until September," Abby said. "Why don't you stay here and stay in town until then? You could go back to Indra's, you could tour the school, and you should definitely visit Aurora at work. You used to go a lot."
Clarke nodded. "Yeah, absolutely. We can just go visit the apartment when it gets ready, right?"
"You can," Abby agreed. "You should." She stood and hugged Clarke tightly to her. "I'm going to work, okay? Have a good day with your friends."
Raven, John, and Bellamy had been taking Clarke around town to visit Aurora's, the grocery store, and even the school. They all went bowling and to the arcade.
Finally, they were back at Clarke's house, sprawled out on the couches watching tv. The coffee table was covered in junk food and sodas.
"I can't believe we're leaving soon," Raven sighed, dramatically.
"Well, you're leaving with Kyle," Clarke winked.
"What?" Bellamy asked.
"Oh, are you two not together anymore?" Clarke asked. "I am so sorry."
"We uh, we are. But, how did you know that?" Raven asked.
"Because in school he was gunning for you hard and you keep checking your phone," Clarke shrugged. "I don't have all my memories but I am not an idiot."
Raven and Bellamy both laughed. Bellamy wrapped his arm around her shoulder and kissed Clarke's hair. "You know, I wasn't in a coma and I still didn't know you two were actually official. I figured you were still fighting it," Bellamy said.
"Oh, whatever," Raven laughed. "Hey, Clarke, I've got to get to the pharmacy before they close. Do you want to ride with me?"
"Yeah," Clarke nodded.
Bellamy watched her slide her shoes back on, kissing her deeply. "You guys be careful." He watched them leave, backing out of the driveway.
"She seems good, man. Exactly the same," John said.
"She's still Clarke," Bellamy agreed. "But, there's more going on that she's not telling us," he sighed. "Well, they'll be out for a little bit. Want to play Call of Duty?"
"Hell yeah," John laughed.
