It's a nuisance.
A painful one.
You feel useless.
Held back.
Unable to do anything you want to do.
The dull constant ache often turns to sharp stabbing pains.
Intense enough to break your hard exterior and cause a quick painful wince to flash across your face.
You're crippled.
Broken.
Internally, this angers you deeply.
This is not supposed to happen.
Worse however, it limits your abilities.
Provides weakness.
Frustration fuels your desire to heal faster.
It's useless, you know that.
But struggling in this manner divides you mentally; diminishing your fire.
Before long, the pounding returns; even stronger than before.
Begging for your attention.
Time is what it will take to solve this.
It's also something you don't have much of.
Time, is running out.
