Chapter 7
Andrea's pov"Come on Andy, It's just one night. One night. I'll even get you a new skateboard or guitar or whatever just please come." My mum pleads.
"Ok. I'll come to the Cowens house for dinner, but I want a new skateboard." I tell her my offer.
"Deal." My mum says placing out her hand.
"Andy. You don't mind..." she says but I knew exactly what she was going to say.
"Nope mother. I am not wearing a dress, you know what dressed remind me off." I tell her my condition and look at her sternly.
"Fine, I'm sorry I didn't mean to bring it up." My mum says before shaking on it.
Me and my mum had a really strong relationship. Ever since my dad left we realised that we only had each other.
My dad left when I was around 12 years old. Around five years ago. For majority of my life he was my hero my now the only thing he is and ever will be is a danger to both me and my mother.
What I didn't tell you about my father was that he was abusive. Ever since his company started going downhill he began to drink which caused him to beat me and my mother, sometimes even my brother.
Jake always helped save us from him. It didn't matter if he was going to get a black eye as long as we were ok he'd do anything.
Until finally, one day he packed up and left with a woman. None of us knew he was having an affair until that night and ever since then Jake has been extra protective over me.
I went upstairs and contemplated what to do for the rest of he afternoon. I was currently choosing between Netflix or skating and didn't know what to do because I could be bothered going to the skatepark.
Jake entered my room and Sat down beside me.
"You bored too?" I ask.
"Yup." He answers.
Me and Jake both had telepathic connection, if you could call it that.
We weren't twins but he was only 10 months older than me.
My mum and my dad had rushed into having me straight after Jake. Perhaps that's why our family failed, but this caused us to be extremely close.
Although he's extremely overprotective he's the best brother I could ever have.
"How about we prank mum?" He asks completely reading my thoughts.
I told you we had a telepathic connection.
"You just read my mind." I say looking at him mischievously.
**********
Me and Jake were currently making a decision on how we should prank our mother.
