"Feeling free, let us fly, into the boundless, beyond the sky, for we were born to never die..."Chapter 25
Andrea's povHe has a habit of disappearing, doesn't he? First when we had our first friendship breakup and now after he told me he saw Cole and Kylie kissing. I could learn a thing or two from him on disappearing seeing as all he seemed to do, since I met him, was run away from his damn prblems.
The boy may look ravishing and sexy but I'm sure he doesn't have a single working brain cell in that hollow head of his.
Wait. Did I just call Zach ravishing and sexy?
Yeah you did, looks like someone has the hots for him.
I ignored the annoying remarks of my concscience and continued to walk to school.
This morning, before school, Joanna had informed me that Zach wouldn't be attending school today as he was 'sick'. Sick my ass. At least make a believable excuse.
Which meant that I would be skating to school again. But I guess the head space really did give me some time to think about the events that happened a few days ago. Since 'prank day' I hadn't encountered a visit with neither Cole or Kylie.
The school had shut down until today due to the tremendous mess we had made therefore I hadn't seen Kylie. As for Cole, although he had texted me continuously and had left endless amounts of voicemails, I had quit my job at 'Vintage Vagrants' to avoid a run in with him.
My motto was to 'never run away from your problems' but recently that seems to be the only thing I do. I didn't want to face neither of them because I didn't want it to be true. I didn't want the fact that there may be a chance that Kylie and Cole did kiss.
I should've seen it coming. All the signs were there. The bonfire, prank day, the various lunches at school, they both coincidentally ended up being together.
My feet made contact with the rough tarmac below causing me to come to a halt. I stopped and bent down to pick up my skateboard.
With my skateboard clutched in my hand I strolled into school rapidly.
My school was quite a big school consisting of over 2000 students. We were one of the biggest schools in the state. Although we had a boring name which was 'Central High School' (CHS) we had the best football team and basketball team.
I entered the school and what I didn't expect was the entire school applauding at my arrival, excluding Rhianna and Hannah obviously. They just stood there in the corner shooting daggers at me with their arms folded.
"The royal prankster has arrived." Shouted Ryan, the same guy who told me about Zach beating Cole up.
"Control your hormones boys." I begin to move away from the crowd. "You might want to take care of that Ryan." I point at his down below.
Did he really just have a boner over me?
Highlight of 2017.
I briefly walk to Mia, Ethan and Savannah who were conversing between one another.
"Where's Zach?" Mia looks at me.
"No 'How was you're weekend, Andy?' or maybe a 'Hello'? Nope you come out with 'Where's Zach?'. Are you sure you're dating the right guy?" I tease her.
"You know what I mean." She shoves me playfully.
"That's actually what I wanted to ask you. Do you know what's wrong with Zach? Joanna said he wouldn't be coming today." I ask Ethan narrowing my eyes at him.
